With multiple global editions, spin-offs, and more, fans worldwide can't seem to get enough of the eclectic and eccentric mix of housemates who remain stuck together inside a home for 100 days. With a list of tasks and challenges they're expected to complete, tension usually runs high, and there is drama galore. And it all makes for spectacular TV!
If you've been waiting eagerly for a new season of the show, you might not have to wait that much longer — season 23 of 'Big Brother' is finally here. Set to premiere on July 7, the show will air at 8 pm ET/PT on CBS; the first episode is a 90-minute live move-in, giving fans a glimpse at who this season's housemates are going to be.
You can also live stream the series on platforms such as Amazon Prime Video and on Paramount +. You can also purchase individual episodes on YouTube, Vudu and Google Play.
In the last ‘All-Star' season, fans got to see a lot of familiar faces as all the contestants were part of previous editions of the show. However, season 23 will have an entirely new set of houseguests, all of whom are willing to duke it out to win the $500,000 prize. There is no news yet on who all will be making their way to the Big Brother house. But if past seasons are anything to go by, fans can definitely expect a few over-the-top personalities.
The new set of housemates will be stuck together for 100 days in a two-story home located on Stage 18 at CBS’ Studio Center in Los Angeles. The house is equipped with 94 HD cameras and around 113 microphones, tracking the housemates' every move and conversation for the world to see.
While there might be a whole new cast for this season, there will be one familiar face, Julie Chen. Chen will be returning for the new season as the host of the series. She has been a part of the franchise since its inception in 2000. She has a long-standing television career, and has been the anchor for shows such as 'CBS Morning News’, 'CBS This Morning', ‘The Early Show' and on WCBS-TV. She has also co-hosted shows such as 'The Early Show' and 'The Talk'.
‘Big Brother’ 23 will air on Sunday, Wednesday and Thursdays, at 8pm ET/PT on CBS.
