The latest ‘Big Brother’ Season 28 episode featured yet another elimination. For Week 4, Haley Thogmartin served as the Head of Household (HOH) and initially nominated three houseguests: Taylor Brown, Drew Campbell, and Melody Morris. However, later on, Taylor won the Power of Veto (POV) and decided to save herself. As a result, the HOH had to pick a replacement nominee and chose Lyric. So, the final nominees for the latest elimination were: Lyric, Drew, and Melody.

On Thursday night, the houseguests witnessed the BB Blockbuster competition right before the elimination. All three nominated contestants competed in the challenge, which involved a Paw Petrol-themed double-layer puzzle. The nominee who finished the puzzle first would have a chance to save themselves. Lyric completed the first layer of the puzzle, with Drew following her closely. However, Drew completed the second layer and won the BB Blockbuster, leaving Melody and Lyric one step closer to elimination.

Before the live voting, both nominated contestants had a chance to speak to fellow houseguests and get them to vote in their favor. Soon, host Julie Chen Moonves arrived for the live vote. Each contestant was invited to the Diary Room to reveal their pick. Houseguests, including Barrett, Lala, Taylor, Drew, Mallory, Angela, Devens, and Dee, voted against Lyric. However, even though a few contestants, including Kamu, Chuk, and Yash, voted to save her, she was eliminated from the show.

After her elimination, Lyric met the host and reflected on her journey. She shared that she wasn’t surprised by the vote. She added that she knew she had a target on her back after winning various challenges. When asked about putting her allies in danger to save herself, Lyric said she needed to play for herself and that she was aware of the six-person alliance in the BB House. She also mentioned that if she had been the HOH, she would have targeted Drew and Barrett.
