OAHU, HAWAII: 'American Idol' Season 22 Episode 9 is set to air on Monday, April 8 at 8 pm ET on ABC. 12 aspiring singers from the Top 24 contestants performed during the first night at Disney Resort. The other 12 contestants would perform during the second night in Hawaii and receive some quick singing tips from Jelly Roll.
The Showstoppers round has recently wrapped with a series of incredible performances and emotional moments advancing the most talented contestants to the next round. The round was filled with some notable eliminations including, Ziggy, Alyssa Raghu, and Michael Rice.
Meanwhile, Madai ChaKell had a tense moment with ABC show judge Luke Bryan which ended up in her elimination. She was accused of mocking Luke's accent and received backlash for her 'bad attitude'.
