BRENTWOOD, CALIFORNIA: 'American Idol' Season 21 has reached its finale episode after multiple dramatic eliminations. The Top 3 contestants Megan Danielle, Colin Stough, and Iam Tongi are all set to compete in the finale episode to become the next singing sensation.

Judges Katy Perry, Lionel Richie, and Luke Bryan will return for Season 21's final episode along with multiple guest performers. The star-studded guest performers list features Jason Bradley DeFord aka Jelly Roll. However, some viewers believe he wasn't an appropriate pick for the finale.

Jelly Roll is scheduled to perform as a guest during the finale night of 'American Idol' Season 21. The official Instagram handle of 'American Idol' has recently announced the list of guests to perform during the finale night. A portrait of Jelly Roll's face was shared on Instagram with the caption, "You already know @jellyroll615 will bring the [insert fire emojis] on Sunday's IDOL #GrandFinale!" But the viewers questioned whether he was good enough for the biggest night of the singing competition. Many viewers claimed that they haven't heard of Jelly Roll and exclaimed that he wasn't a big enough name like the other performers, Kylie Minogue, Lauren Daigle, James Blunt, and TLC.

Soon after Jelly Roll's guest performance announcement, some social media users said they will boycott the finale. One user wrote, "I won’t watch… ridiculous." Another viewer commented, "I have never heard of jelly roll!!🤷🏼‍♀️who is this guy?" One asked, "Is this a joke?" While another user said, "What is American Idol coming to?" and one user added, "He really named himself jelly roll."
