Are Paula and Thomas still together? ‘90 Day Fiancé’ star Paula’s family sounds alarm over Thomas’ ‘crazy’ behavior
The latest ‘90 Day Fiancé’ Season 12 Episode 14 featured the couples, including Paula-Thomas, Catie-Josh, Marissa-Edward, Debby-Mido, Ashia-Maxwell, Mallorie-Rasit, and more. One of the couples, Paula, 41, and Thomas, 31, welcomed her family at their apartment located in Long Beach, California. This included Paula’s parents, brother, sister-in-law, and nieces. Before their arrival, Paula noted, “I know that things has been tense between us. Too much stress. So, I want to be very easy with you.” She told the cameras that it was a “mix of feelings.” However, things got tense between them after Thomas instructed Paula’s family about how he could not stand the smell of artificial flavors.
In a confessional, Paula shared, “I just want to put my issues with Thomas aside, so I don’t want fight and bickering, especially in front of my family.” She added that it had been “so stressful” between her and Thomas and that she wanted to have a “normal life.” After Paula’s family arrived, Thomas told everyone, “First, I want to explain the law of the land here. Firstly, no shoes in the apartment.” Her family members agreed. Thomas continued, “Also, guys, this is very important. I’m a very sensitive man for little smells.” At first, Paula’s parents and others did not understand, as there were giggles across the room. Thomas added, “Please, you can’t use perfumes in the apartment. For example, perfumes in soap.”
Paula asked him whether he meant that her family members could not use soap. “No soaps with perfume, please,” replied Thomas. He told everyone not to buy soaps from the store. Paula translated her mother’s question and asked Thomas whether she could buy and use baby soap. “Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Normally, products for babies don’t have perfumes because they’re sensitive like me,” he stated. In a confessional, Paula’s parents shared that Thomas’s behavior and culture were “complicated” for them. Further in the episode, Paula’s family members learned that Thomas did not have a television and that it was something that he was proud of. Everyone was surprised to learn that.
In a confessional, Paula’s brother shared, “I’ve known Thomas for a while ever since he started dating Paula. Sometimes I worry about how he acts and some quirks he has.” His wife added that it was “A bit annoying.” Her brother also expressed his concerns over how his sister and Thomas could have a “long-lasting marriage” if both were so different from each other. Later, when Thomas told everyone that he had spent “zero dollars” while preparing for the guests’ arrival, Paula’s brother noted that he was “crazy.” Paula also told the cameras that she needed to figure out whether she would go ahead with marrying Thomas or whether it was a mistake. As of now, the two are still together, while Paula still has questions about their relationship, eight days before their wedding.
