DENVER, COLORADO: 'Married At First Sight' Season 17 wrapped up with the last remaining couple Michael Shiakallis and Chloe Brown partying ways on Decision Day. In the latest episode, Michael said 'no' to Chloe because he didn't feel right and ready to continue his marriage. However, the viewers left furious over Michael's decision as the Lifetime show star received a second chance at love after getting ditched at the altar.

While explaining his decision, Michael shared, "I came into this knowing that I was going to be leaning heavily on you." He added, "I was going to be leaning heavily on this journey to put me in a position where I could feel confident and optimistic enough because I knew there was going to always be a level of doubt but just enough to where I could say let's continue working on this marriage."

Michael further noted, "As I feel down the road, I may look back on this and think, but you know as I search through how I feel and hone in on that I know I can't say yes." However, the Lifetime show fans called out Michael for saying no to Chloe. A social media user commented, "It had nothing to do with that, he wanted his 5 minutes of fame! Lost all respect for Michael." Another viewer wrote, "Ugh don’t wanna even look at Michael. Disappointing."

Another person added, "Like Michael will ever find anyone better than Chloe, who's willing to accept him for who he is. Big Mistake. This season's men were a group of FOOLS." Another critic noted, "So Michael said no ha ? thought he wanted to be married #MarriedAtFirstSight #MAFS guess he deserve what happen to him at first."

Another internet user penned, "I'm SO DONE w/Michael ‼️ He will NEVVVER find another Chloe! He's in his cluttered head & IS A Jackass... Full Stop! I've turned & am DONE w/this season & Possibly, this show! Baaaad Decision! She is Perfect for him!" Another X user penned, "#MAFS ain’t ever going to give a person a second chance. Chloe Brown says 'yes' to Michael Shiakallis on Decision Day

Chloe Brown was hopeful that she and Michael Shiakallis could work on their issues and remain happily married. She said yes on the decision day and wanted to continue her marriage. Chloe elaborated on her decision, "I came into this journey believing in love being a choice and not something that we're going to feel at every moment of every day."

She announced, "I think I want to see if we have more story to tell. So I want to keep going." Despite Michael's rejection, Chloe believed that their marriage might be successful. She admitted in the confessional, "I'm not surprised hearing him say no. He's not ready to give me everything that I need from him."

She added, "I don't want to waste any time building a relationship with someone who's not ready to reciprocate what I need." The Lifetime show star explained, "But that's not to say that I didn't believe there could have been something more. And I still do, and I will believe that."

Michael Shiakallis shares uncertain feelings ahead of Decision Day

'MAFS' Season 17 star Michael Shiakallis was unsure about his future with Chloe Brown ahead of Decision Day. In the previous episode, Michael explained, "What I would need to say yes, it just feel like that we've not only solidified and created an emotional connection, which I think we did, but we've sustained it and progressed it to a degree, not just where I would say like, 'I want to continue dating you' because it's not dating but I want to continue in this marriage, which I think is like a significant level."

Chloe noticed that Michael was holding back his true feelings and noted, "I think I might be kind of hearing a little bit that if decision day was tomorrow, you might be feeling like it's no." Michael agreed with his wife and said, "I would be feeling like I have insufficient data."
