Are Michael Shiakallis and Chloe Brown still together? 'MAFS' Season 17 groom feels 'scared' as he prepares for his second wedding
DENVER, COLORADO: 'Married At First Sight' Season 17 stars Michael Shiakallis and Chloe Brown are yet to share an update on their relationship status but fans could hope for their forever love to continue.
In the most recent installment of the Lifetime show, Michael expressed fear of facing another abandonment as he geared up for his second wedding, having previously been ditched at the altar.
However, the groom acknowledged feeling scared, stating, "Now, I'm just contemplating what if she doesn't like what she sees?"
He continued, "And when I tell her what happened the first time around that could impact her, and she could feel like a second chance."
Michael added, "She might be in a place where you know she may not want to do this anymore. I don't know how you can not be scared of that."
Michael also reflected on his feelings about getting ditched at the altar and noted, "Being rejected at the altar was humiliating. It was embarrassing."
He added, "But the time I had since then to kind of internally, you know, emotionally and mentally tune myself, I have even more confidence."
Chloe was also quite nervous before she walked down the aisle. However, the couple instantly felt the spark as soon they saw each other at the altar and also exchanged vows.
Do Michael Shiakallis and Chloe Brown want their own kids?
'MAFS' Season 17 bride Chloe Brown revealed to Michael Shiakallis' friends that she doesn't want her own kids. She explained her reason and noted, "So for me, there are 450,000 kids in foster care."
Chloe additionally mentioned her preference for adopting foster children rather than having biological ones.
She said, "I feel like instead of putting a bun in this oven, I can love the buns that have come out of everybody else's ovens." However, Michael had similar feelings as Chloe.
Chloe's close relatives asked Michael about his take on having kids, and the groom responded, "I haven't had a personal emotional desire for children." Michael clarified that he would be interested in having kids only if his partner wanted to.
Michael was asked if he would like to adopt kids, and he said, "Fostering, adopting, having children of our own, like, to me, the method is agnostic." He added, "If we felt that the next way to continue to fulfill our relationship was to raise children together, I don't care."
