Will Michael Shiakallis and Chloe Brown split? 'MAFS' Season 17 star feels 'drained' as he hunts for new house
DENVER, COLORADO: 'Married At First Sight' Season 17 couple Michael Shiakallis and Chloe Brown recently sparked split speculations after they were unsure about their relationship's future. During the latest episode, Michael and Chloe are seen hunting for a new apartment together after Decision Day. However, Michael shares hesitancy about his future with Chloe.
Michael proposed living apart for a few months after the eight-week experiment. He expressed that he had begun evaluating various criteria and situations of their relationship, making him question their marriage. Michael explained that he had strong feelings for Chloe but sometimes he left feeling emotionally drained.
The Lifetime show star also shared his doubts and claimed he wasn’t sure that was how he should feel with his wife. Michael said, "One of the challenges about the level of intensity of us sharing everything was just underestimating how draining that could be even with us being on the same page."
He added, "Like, You've been great about receiving everything about my background, my perspective, how I see the present how I see the future and I try to be the same for you." Michael further noted, "No wonder there've been times when I was surprised why I'm so drained thinking of the future." However, Chloe claimed that she needed time to process Michael's revelation.
Chloe Brown disappointed after being accused of 'inauthentic'
Chloe Brown recently expressed her disappointment after Dr Pia labeled her and Michael Shiakallis's relationship as 'inauthentic'. Chloe met Emily Balch, revealing that their therapy session with Dr Pia didn't go as hoped. Chloe told Emily, "We were accused of being inauthentic."
She added, "We may not necessarily align on these little things that just don't really matter. Like, Michael's mom doesn't know [about the marriage], we don't have our living situation lined up." However, Emily claimed that Dr Pia only wanted good for the couples and said, "She is hard. But I don't think she would be doing that if she also wasn't pushing you to maybe get to the place of maybe falling in love."
Emily also claimed that if a Lifetime show expert suggested that the small issues could become bigger hurdles for Chloe and Michael, then she could be right.

'MAFS' Season 17 star Michael Shiakallis has sparked speculation that he may say 'no' on Decision Day. The reality star has recently expressed hesitations about his relationship with Chloe Brown and shared, "I interpret Decision Day as like deciding if you wanna continue to build and work on this marriage, and now I do feel legitimately torn."
He added, "Decision Day is rapidly approaching and all of the feelings, the emotions, the anxiety has been really stressful." Meanwhile, Chloe appeared to say 'yes' on Decision Day, expressing her affection for Michael and optimism about their future together.
