DENVER, COLORADO: 'Married At First Sight' Season 17 stars Michael Shiakallis finally tied the knot with Chloe Brown after being left at the altar by the runaway bride. The newlyweds enjoyed a romantic and adventurous honeymoon. After the honeymoon, the couple prepared to move in together, but it appeared Chloe had second thoughts. She had a conversation with Michael about the move and reflected on her hesitation.

In the latest episode, Chloe told Michael, "Tomorrow's going to be a big day for us and I've been single a long time... I'm just like wow I'm about to have a full-blown husband in our new apartment in our new place together."

She further noted, "We are really doing it and so yeah it's been a lot for me to process. We have only as much time as we have spent together." She continued, "We just don't have any point of reference friends with each other. We are strangers up until a few days ago. Chloe admitted to being 'emotionally overwhelmed'. She added, "I think I'm just kind of processing emotions that I've never ever not only not felt before but didn't even know I had the capacity to feel." The Lifetime show bride elaborated, "So I think it just kind of all hit me that tomorrow reality hits we are husband and wife..."

She added, "We are moving in together and it's absolutely freaking terrifying." Chloe's confession left Michael puzzled but she made it clear about her reluctance and said, "I'm saying I don't know if I can do this."

Michael Shiakallis opens up about his runaway bride Chloe Brown

'MAFS' Season 17 groom Michael Shiakallis his relationship by opening up about his past. During the wedding dinner, Michael disclosed to Chloe Brown about his runaway bride. Michael's wedding was attended by other Lifetime show couples, and while referencing them, the new groom revealed, "Some of the other couples that are going through this journey [are here today], and the reason why they're here to show their support is original, there was an attempt for me to be married at first sight along with them, but that did not happen."

Michael explained, "The woman they had matched me up with at the time felt like she couldn't go through with it." He added, "But I just want you to know that our journey is our journey. I don't want you to think that you're receiving a broken man or that there's any residual from that first experience." He further noted, "There is none of that, and this [journey] is uniquely ours. For all intents and purposes, I'm here to experience this with you." Chloe supported Michael and said, "What is meant for us will never, ever, ever pass us."
