DENVER, COLORADO: 'Married At First Sight' Season 7 created history with a mystery runaway bride who left her hopeful groom, Michael Shiakallis, devastated. The Lifetime show has been surrounded by multiple speculations and controversies since the latest season's debut.

However, Lifetime could face legal trouble as the runaway bride's hairdresser has made shocking claims. Lifetime widely promoted the 'runaway bride' and made it the centre plot of the season's premiere episodes.

Meanwhile, the runaway bride's hairstylist, Amy, shared her story in a now-deleted TikTok video, which was reshared on the MAFSFan Instagram account. Amy claimed that the Runaway Bride has been planning to sue Lifetime.

However, currently, it is unclear why she would sue the network. But there is a possibility that the runaway bride could sue the network for using her for the promotions and her voice on the show.

Meanwhile, Amy also claimed that she had been waiting since January to share the photos of the hairstyle she created for the bride who was supposed to marry Michael. She noted that the non-disclosure agreement didn't allow her to share the photos.

Amy further revealed, that as the bride ran away, her work would not be seen on national television as she was promised. The hairdresser also noted that she was paid less and expected that the 'exposure' would be enough to boost her business.

Michael Shiakallis claims he is not 'entitled' to an apology from 'runaway bride'

Michael Shiakallis has recently come clean to the other contestants about his wedding day. In the latest episode of 'MAFS' Season 17, couples Emily Balch, Brennen Shoyket, Clare Kerr, Cameron Frazer, Lauren, Orion Martzloff, Becca Bonner, and Austin R, head off on their destination honeymoons.

However, Michael joined the couple on their honeymoon and left them as he arrived alone. When he was asked about his wife, Michael revealed, "You know, wedding day comes around and she comes down, she pauses for a moment and then essentially states that she doesn't want to marry a stranger."

The couples were left stunned and questioned the runaway bride's motive for waiting until she got to the altar to make such a decision. However, the other couple then asked if Michael and the bride had a chance to talk.

Michael noted, "No, so she left a note and that was our real, only contact." However, Michael made it clear that he doesn't feel entitled to an apology, adding, "You don't need to apologize to me for making a decision that you feel is best for you."

Michael further explained, "For me, the idea of this relationship not working out, I identified that as that could be the biggest failure I experience personally. And regardless of the level of control or influence I had over the situation, unfortunately for me, I still feel that."

What is 'Married At First Sight' all about?

'Married At First Sight' is a social experiment that brings two strangers together to meet and exchange vows at the altar. The Lifetime show features around eight to ten singles as they make connections in an eight-week trial marriage.

However, the couples have to decide whether they want to stay married or get divorced at the end of the experiment. The experts find potential matches among the singles and match them based on their personalities, wants, and non-negotiables.

The latest season took place in Denver for the first time and became one of the most memorable seasons. One of the grooms, who was expecting to get married, was left abandoned at the altar.
