Season 3 continues the romantic conflict between Alex and Tyler, which has had an impact on the latter's marriage to his wife, Brittany Snow.
"You swooned me, then you f***ing disappeared. What do you want?" Alex informs Tyler during one of the scenes shown in the Season 3 Trailer. In a different scenario, Tyler tells Austin Victoria that he wants children and a marriage.
"When we’re trying to force it, neither of us are on the same page," he said. In another moment, Tyler tells Alex, "I don’t want to run this thing into the ground," Alex confesses, "I'm out."
Despite Alex's emphatic statement in the Season 3 teaser that she is "done" with Tyler's drama, Tyler is subsequently shown leaning in for a passionate kiss with her.

Alex appeared on the Season 7 reunion of 'Selling Sunset' alongside her OC coworkers Polly Brindle, Gio Helou, and Brandi Marshall. Tan France, the host, probed Alex on the condition of her friendship/relationship with Tyler, and the news was not good.
Alex and Tyler finally explored their love for one another and enjoyed a kiss at the end of 'Selling the OC' Season 2. After the season aired, the two stated that they were "navigating their friendship" and declined to comment more on the relationship rumors.
In an Instagram live video shared on Alex's account in September, the two appeared to be great friends and avoided inquiries about their relationship status. Alex has just reported that Tyler has blocked her on Instagram and "excommunicated" her from his life.
When Tan inquired if she knew he was leaving the brokerage, Alex replied, "I did not know he was leaving until he pretty much left." She then reported that Tyler had blocked her and "excommunicated" her.
"I would like to know what happened," Alex remarked, indicating to Tan that she did not believe the block was "valid."
Why did 'Selling the OC' alum Tyler Stanaland leave the Oppenheim Group?
Tyler departed the Oppenheim Group in October 2023 to work alongside his father, John Stanaland, at Douglas Elliman Real Estate. Tyler's departure from the brokerage has been verified by Jason Oppenheim, and his profile is no longer visible on the internet.
Tyler told PEOPLE that leaving the Oppenheim Group wasn't easy, but it was the right move for him and his clients. "Not only am I joining my dad and brother at Douglas Elliman, but I’m also aligning with a brand that has unparalleled reach and presence in the market with a renowned network of agents and industry leaders."
Tyler will appear in the upcoming 'Selling the OC' Season 3, although it appears that he will not return in any subsequent seasons. "Selling the OC revolves around agents at the Oppenheim Group. As of today, I will be working at Douglas Elliman," he said
Why did 'Selling the OC' alum Tyler Stanaland split from Brittany Snow?
Tyler was formerly married to Brittany Snow from 'Pitch Perfect' before their highly publicized breakup in July 2023. Tyler dealt with the fallout of his split from Brittany in Season 2 of 'Selling the OC' by doubling down on his listings and growing closer to Alex Cooper.
Brittany appeared to corroborate Tyler's cheating on her by telling Alex on her "Call Her Daddy" podcast that she has been cheated on in previous relationships. She stated that she was originally upset at the betrayal, but that to release that anger, she had to look at it "from every side" and realize her role in her marriage's breakdown.
She said that she had no regrets about the relationship.
