Did Bre Tiesi leave Oppenheim Group? 'Selling Sunset' Season 7 real estate agent confronts Jason over commission split
BEVERLY HILLS, CALIFORNIA: 'Selling Sunset' star Bre Tiesi joined the Netflix show in Season 6. She has quite a few big listings, including rapper Saweetie.
Bre wanted a bigger commission split for her listings. However, Jason made it clear that the commission split is non-negotiable which made Bre quite upset and she even considered leaving the Oppenheim Group.
Notably, Bre is still listed on Oppenheim Group's website as a real estate agent. Bre wanted a high commission for her impressive work and she met Jason Oppenheim to discuss her commission split in the finale episode of the show's Season 7.
The real estate agent revealed that she is used to getting a 90/10 commission split — 90 per cent being her commission share and the other 10 per cent going to her broker in her previous company.
However, Jason didn't agree with Bre and explained to her that every agent at the Oppenheim Group has been on the same commission split and he was aware that most of his agents could go elsewhere to make more money.
Oppenheim Group owner then noted that his real estate company offers more services than other brokerages and the agents are happier with them.
However, Bre then claimed that Chelsea Lazkani had tried to "sabotage" her sales and her relationships with the other girls in the office.
Jason admitted that he wasn't aware of the feud between Bre and Chelsea. However, Jason then claimed that he would never want Bre to leave the brokerage because of Chelsea's behaviour and that he wanted her to stay.
Bre Tiesi's feud with Chelsea Lazkani triggers her to consider leaving Oppenheim Group
'Selling Sunset' Season 7 ended with a cliffhanger after Bre Tiesi and Chelsea Lazkani had an explosive blowout. Bre was already considering leaving the Oppenheim Group and her feud with Chelsea seems to have worsened the situation.
Jason organised an exciting opening party for Oppenheim Group's new LA office. Chelsea brought Cassandra to the party and tried to mend her relationship with Bre.
Unfortunately, Bre and Cassandra's conversation went wrong when Cassandra hits out at Bre's 'attitude' and calls her a 'bitch'. Chelsea then backs Cassandra, escalating the argument.
Chelsea suggested Bre should change her attitude and be more approachable. However, Chelsea's statement prompted Bre to declare, "I'm done," as she walked out of the party.
'Selling Sunset' star Jason Oppenheim refuses to address Bre Tiesi's departure
Jason Oppenheim recently insisted that he and Bre Tiesi are on good terms. However, he refused to confirm if Bre had left the Oppenheim group.
In a recent interview with DailyMail, Jason was asked if Bre has left the company and he responded, "You'd have to ask her." Jason added, "I am [on good terms with Bre]."
While referring to Bre and Chelsea Lazkani's explosive feud at his milestone event, Jason continued, "I was at the party, and I experienced it as it was unfolding."
Jason further revealed, "I get that we're filming a show and those things happen, and I'm assuming that stuff probably drives the audience, but obviously I don't want those things occurring during my opening."
Did Jason Oppenheim hire Cassandra Repstad?
Cassandra Repstad was introduced as a real estate newbie in the latest season of 'Selling Sunset'. Cassandra claimed to know Bre Tiesi but the latter had a totally different story.
However, Bre's other foe Chelsea Lazkani introduced Cassandra to Jason Oppenheim and even asked him to hire her. However, currently, it's unclear whether Jason hired Cassandra and if she will join the cast of the Netflix show as a permanent agent in the Los Angeles office.
'Selling Sunset' Season 7 is now available to stream on Netflix. Catch the reunion special on November 15 at 9 pm ET on the streaming platform.
