LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'Selling Sunset' star Tyler Stanaland has resigned from the Oppenheim Group as he believed it was the "right decision" for him and his clients.

The news of Stanaland's departure from the 'Oppenheim Group' was confirmed by People magazine on October 5, 2023.

At the time, the real estate agent said, “Leaving the Oppenheim Group wasn’t an easy decision, but is the right decision for me and my clients."

He further added, “Not only am I joining my dad and brother at Douglas Elliman, I’m aligning with a brand that has unparalleled reach and presence in the market with a renowned network of agents and industry leaders.”

When questioned about his future on the Netflix series, the reality TV star replied, “Selling the OC revolves around agents at the Oppenheim Group. As of today, I will be working at Douglas Elliman.”

He continued, "My decision to leave the Oppenheim Group is about making the best decision for my clients and my career. I’m excited about this new chapter and to be working alongside family again.”

Now, Tyler is set to join his father John Stanaland, and brother Trevor Stanaland, to expand their six-generation-long family business, which now functions as the John Stanaland Group under Douglas Elliman.

'Selling Sunset' helped Tyler Stanaland to grow personally and professionally

The real estate agent talked about his journey on the show 'Selling Sunset' and stated how it helped him to grow and evolve both personally and professionally in an older interview with People. He said, “It's one of those things where time heals all wounds and you see me as I'm going through it and picking up the pieces and finding my feet again."

Stanaland went on to say about his divorce, “But luckily I had great people around me and dove into work. I think I'm still healing, in certain ways from it, but I keep saying divorce doesn't have to be a bad thing. You learn and grow from it.”

The 'Pitch Perfect' actress continued, "We started this journey as best friends and our relationship will continue to be a priority not only for us but for our dog Charlie. We sincerely appreciate your support and ask for privacy as we navigate this new chapter."
