'Selling The OC': Who is Alex Hall? Meet the interior designer turned realtor joining the Oppenheim Group
ORANGE COUNTY, CALIFORNIA: Alexandra Hall is one of The Oppenheim Group's newest employees and will appear in Netflix's 'Selling The OC' later this year. She has already sold a number of residences, which The Oppenheim Group attributes to her negotiating talents and knowledge in interior design.
'Selling Sunset,' which premiered in 2019, immediately became Netflix's next popular show because of the intense feuds between rival real estate brokers and the gorgeous, ultra-expensive Los Angeles real estate it featured. When Brett and Jason Oppenheim, twin brothers and co-owners of The Oppenheim Group, disclosed during the Season 4 finale of 'Selling Sunset' that they had extended their brokerage in Newport Beach, it was a no-brainer for Netflix to launch 'Selling The OC.' Unlike its parent series or its other spin-off, 'Selling Tampa,' the cast of 'Selling The OC' will be a blend of men and women. So, how does Alex's background help her stand out in the real estate industry?

Who is Alex Hall?
Alex, who describes herself as "young and ambitious," has been working in real estate since 2013. Alex doesn't give much information about herself on Instagram, but according to her bio from The Oppenheim Group, she is among the "top tier" of Orange County's real estate brokers. Alex's fresh viewpoint and experiences make her a formidable threat to her competitors, as evidenced by her academic credentials.
Alex majored in interior design, just like 'Selling Sunset's' in-house interior designer Amanza Smith. Her degree can assist her in ensuring that the property she is selling is beautiful on the exterior and inside, with rooms that have the appropriate furniture and decorations that complement the architecture of the house. Besides, her expertise in interior design provides her an advantage over her competitors.
Alex is prominently featured in Netflix's new spin-off trailer, along with the rest of her cast mates. The high-end properties that the agents sell, similar to 'Selling Sunset,' will serve as a backdrop to the workplace drama at The Oppenheim Group's office. According to LinkedIn, her resume includes work at a number of prestigious organizations, including Christie's International Real Estate and Southeby's.
The 33-year-old California native is said to have two children with her husband. Details about her personal life are scarce, but she can be found on Instagram with her two children, a baby son, and a pre-teen daughter.
What about the other members of the group? According to the Netflix teaser, she has some reservations about Alexandra Rose, but she has a fondness for Kayla Cardona. Alex first denied the offer to appear on the show until she learned that a producer from one of her favorite series, 'Laguna Beach,' would be involved. She spent two hours on the phone with Jason Oppenheim, who persuaded her to join. "He basically told me I'd be stupid not to do it!" Alex tells PEOPLE.
What will happen in the first season? Will the realtors' plans come to fruition without a hiccup, or will they compete with one another? And in the end, are they truly the best of friends? All questions will be answered when the show premieres on Netflix on August 24. Viewers have been assured a drama that will rival or surpass the feuds on 'Selling Sunset' with a large ensemble of fascinating agents like Alex. Fans can still watch 'Selling Sunset' and 'Selling Tampa' on Netflix until 'Selling The OC' is released.
