SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA: Netflix's hit reality TV show 'The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On' is all set to return for a second season. The popular show places five different couples.
One partner among the couples is ready to settle down while the other is still confused. Hence the 'ultimatum' has been issued.
The show would then have the couples split for a period of eight weeks and pair them with one of the individuals from the other couples. At the end of this time period, they could either marry or move on for good.
This new season, Brian Okoye and Lisa Horne are among the five couples who wish to try and find out whether their relationship will work or not.
Who is Brian Okoye?
Though Okoye graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 2016 with a degree in engineering, he always wanted to do creative work related to the fashion industry.
His degree in engineering formed the backup plan which would be able to support him while he pursued his dream of entrepreneurship. He is 29 years old.
Who is Lisa Horne?
Horne is a graduate of Eastern Carolina University. She relocated from Greenville to Charlotte to look for greener pastures early in her career.
She has worked as a TV host for a show in Charlotte called 'Up Next'. She is a certified nurse and also a mother. She works as a freelance model as well.
Why did Brian Okoye and Lisa Horne join Netflix's 'The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On' Season 2?
This won't be the first ultimatum in the lives of Okoye and Horne. They spent time in casual hookups for a period of about six months before Horne took matters into her own hands and made Okoye choose between love and friendship.
She was able to garner commitment from Okoye and the two have been together since then. Their relationship is a year-and-a-half old.
The one thing Okoye likes about Horne is that she consistently pushes him to be the best version of himself.
Horne, on the other hand, is delighted to see her 10-year-old son bonding well with Okoye.
However, everything isn't sunshine and roses in their relationship. They have arrived at that crossroad in life where they differ from each other in terms of setting a timeline for their marriage and starting a family together.
Horne herself is fully prepared and, according to her, it is Okoye who is reluctantly dragging his feet down the aisle. The reason behind their appearance on the show is that Horne has issued Okoye an ultimatum, claiming that if he isn't ready to marry her, she sure is ready to move on.
Okoye, on the other hand, is reluctant to take things to the next level due to Lisa's issues with jealousy and her explosive temperament. Unless the two learn to effectively communicate with each other, their relationship would suffer.
