LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Fans of the 2020 film 'My Spy' should brace themselves for the sequel, titled, 'My Spy: The Eternal City' which will premiere on Thursday, July 18, 2024, on Prime Video.

Directed by Peter Segal, the movie follows veteran CIA operative JJ (Dave Bautista), who unwillingly agrees to accompany his teenage protégé Sophie (Chloe Coleman) on a school trip to Italy.

However, their apparently peaceful holiday takes a perilous turn when they get involved in a worldwide terrorist plan.

Dave Bautista will reprise his role as JJ in 'My Spy: The Eternal City.'

Kristen Schaal returns as Bobbi, JJ's tech-savvy and frequently snarky CIA coworker.

Bobbi offers critical assistance from headquarters, bringing technological knowledge and humorous relief to the action-packed storyline.

Kristen was born on January 24, 1978, and attended Northwestern University before relocating to New York to pursue a comedy career.

Her big break came when New York magazine named her one of 'The Ten Funniest New Yorkers You've Never Heard Of' in 2005.

Her portrayal as Mel in the HBO sitcom 'Flight of the Conchords' helped her attain broader notoriety.

Ken Jeong as David Kim

Ken Jeong returns as David Kim, the CIA Chief, in the comedy flick.

Jeong, an American actor and comedian, is noted for his energetic and frequently outrageous performances.

Jeong relocated to Los Angeles in 1998 to practice internal medicine at a Kaiser Permanente facility in Woodland Hills.

He appeared on The Office,' 'Entourage,' and 'Curb Your Enthusiasm, while also performing often at 'The Improv' and 'Laugh Factory' comedy clubs.

His breakthrough came in Judd Apatow's 'Knocked Up'.

Anna Faris as Nancy

Anna Faris will portray Nancy in the film, a school principal who chaperones the students on their vacation to Italy.

She refined her talent in many theatrical performances before landing her first film role in the horror comedy 'Scary Movie'.
