Additionally, with Gunn's hints about multiple 'Guardians of the Galaxy' actors' entry into the DCU, rumors about him playing the villainous character are rife, and Bautista's Instagram story adds fuel to the fire.

The wrestler-turned-actor known for his role in 'Guardians of the Galaxy', previously hinted at a collaboration with Gunn by posting a photo of the director's parking lot, fueling speculation.

Furthermore, considering the physical qualities of the character, enthusiasts believe Bautista fits the bill.

Although it is too early to determine if Bautista will play Bane or another character, fans will undoubtedly be pleased, and it will be quite a contrast to his already popular role as Drax in the MCU.
