Episode 11 of ‘The Voice’ was action-packed as many contestants went head to head against one another, and most returned home. Coach Gwen Stefani garnered quite some attention toward her as she picked Robert ‘Kique’ Gomez over Tanner Howe. Kique and Tanner put out one of the best duets of the night as they sang ‘Simple minds’ iconic song ‘Don’t You (*Forget About Me)’ and made even the judges sing along. Fans claimed that Gwen made a mistake by letting Tanner go, but later, the ‘No Doubt’ frontwoman seemingly made up for it by “stealing” Camila Cabello’s teammate Sasha Hurtado in an effort to save the young singer from exiting.

The “goat” Blake Shelton’s contestants Kate Kalvach and Madison Hugh also were two participants who graced the stage in the episode. During the performance, Kate clearly outshined her opponent and was crowned the winner, as Madison seemed to sound a little “off-key.” Other battles included Kim Cruse vs David Andrew and Ian Harrison vs Alyssa Witrado.

The next episode will be the Battle Rounds’ finale, so fans can expect to see the remaining contestants put to the test. The ones that make it will proceed to the Knock Offs, where it will be a three-way battle!
