‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3’ Ending Explained: How does the team get the key to save Rocket?
The Guardians don’t know anything about Rocket’s past, so they just follow all the clues and break into OrgoCorp, a planet-sized corporation entirely made from organic tissues. Led by High Revolutionary, OrgoCorp is responsible for all the cruel experiments that are being done on several animals and humans and are actually the place where Rocket was before becoming a Guardian. OrgoCorp has the files that the Guardians need to bypass Rocket’s failsafe.
Quill, Mantis, Drax, Groot, and Nebula embark on a journey to enter the OrgoCorp. Rocket is also on the ship and if the team is unable to find the key in 48 hours, then it would be impossible to save him. While piercing the shields of OrgoCorp, their ship is invaded by Ravagers and it turns out that Gamora is working with the Ravagers now. Nebula contacted her to help the team get inside the planet and steal the key from their records.
They manage to steal Rocket’s records, but unfortunately, the key they wanted was never in those records. However, those records show them the cruelties that were done to Rocket when he was young. They wanted to save their friend, so they managed to find High Revolutionary’s coordinates and decided to follow them. His base is on Counter-Earth, a planet similar to Earth that is populated by anthropomorphic animals.
Gamora wanted to leave but gets stuck with the team till the end. On the other hand, High Priestess and Adam Warlock are also behind the Guardians so that they can get the prize.
However, when Quill and Groot meet High Revolutionary, viewers realize that Rocket is not the only one who needs to be saved.
‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3’ Ending Explained: Did Quill manage to get the key?
Quill, Nebula, and Groot go to meet High Revolutionary in his HQs. They don’t let Nebula enter the HQs because her arm is literally a weapon. High Revolutionary wants Rocket back because he is much more intelligent than anyone and wants to use his brain to give that much intelligence to each and every one of his captives. It turns out that both parties laid out a trap for one another. High Revolutionary took this opportunity to take Rocket out of the ship while Quill and Groot enter with a lot of weapons.
War Pig gets to the group’s ship and attacks Gamora. He takes Rocket and was going to get away. However, Adam Warlock comes at the right time and kills War Pig. On the other hand, Gamora is able to save Rocket.
Meanwhile, inside the HQs, Quill and Groot kill almost everyone and get away with a scientist that has the key. They blast their way out of the tower just as the villain decides to destroy everything and kill billions of people. Fortunately, Peter and Groot take the key to save Rocket. Quill and Groot reunited Gamora to save Rocket while Nebula, Drax, and Mantis enter High Revolutionary’s tower to save Quill and Groot because they didn’t know that they have already escaped. However, when they went inside they got to know the villain was now torturing little kids and making them turn into something else. Elsewhere, Quill manages to save Rocket and now it’s time for the final act.
