Will Luke Bryan help HunterGirl win 'American Idol' Season 20? Here's why fans think so
Since day one 'American Idol' fans have had mixed feelings about HunterGirl. While some fans felt that the 23-year-old was deserving of the coveted Platinum Ticket, many others felt that she was way too 'over-rated' and failed to understand the hype behind her.
Though fans continued to jump back and forth with their feelings towards Huntergirl's performances on the singing competition show, judge Luke Bryan refused to be swayed and continued to support her. The judge's constant support and belief in her, including giving her an opportunity to perform at his bar, raised quite a few eyebrows. So, when it was announced that HunterGirl secured a spot amongst the Top 3 and would be performing in the finale for the winner title, many fans felt that Luke's support may just hand her the victory.

A fan tweeted, "@AmericanIdol booted Nicolina because she’s Canadian. She out sings EVERYONE so this makes zero sense. She is also charting with her single so clearly she HAS FANS compared to the others. #Rigged Huntergirl is stuck up and also sings at Luke’s bar. It’s rigged! #AmericanIdol." "Huntergirl will win because Luke says so. #americanidol," wrote a fan. Another fan added, "Luke with whistle call for country votes for hunter girl #AmericanIdol."

Another fan shared, "The winner is already been picked. Hunter girl is gonna be the winner. They had her picked out since she got the platinum ticket and performed at Luke's bar in Nashville. #AmericanIdol." "Huntergirl picking safe again.... over her. She doesn't need this show. Luke has loved her since day one. He will help her after no matter what. She's fake and puts on a show for the cameras. She's not genuine. Sounds like every other country singer #AmericanIdol," pointed out a fan. "Luke promotes mediocre. HunterGirl was performing at his bar long before trying out for Idol," expressed a fan. "American Idol is just a country competition at this point. Everyone else is just competing to to STAY in as long as they can while all of these Luke fans vote for mediocre karaoke-level country. Okay that was my rant- thanks for tuning in," observed a fan.
