'American Idol': Fans call Huntergirl and Cole duet round performance 'absolutely pathetic'

From slamming their song choice to questioning how Huntergirl bagged the platinum ticket, fans had a lot of strong feelings about the duo's performance

Ever since Huntergirl won the coveted platinum ticket on 'American Idol' Season 20, fans have had mixed feelings about it. Thanks to her platinum ticket, Huntergirl not only got to skip the first round of Hollywood Week, but also pick out her partner for the Hollywood Week's duet round. She chose Cole Ritter as her duet partner. In her green room interview, Huntergirl gushed over how his vocals left her speechless.

While it was undeniable that Huntergirl and Cole's chemistry was sizzling, sadly it didn't translate to their performance to 'Dreams' by Fleetwood Mac. Even though the judges loved the duo's take on the popular song, fans however felt that the duo's performance was disappointing. From slamming their song choice to questioning how Huntergirl bagged the platinum ticket, fans had a lot of strong feelings about the duo's performance.
