With fan-favorite contestants Fritz Hager and Nicolina Bozzo being eliminated from 'American Idol' Season 20, fans are now pinning all their hopes on Leah Marlene to win the singing competition show.

The recently aired episode of the ABC show featured the top 5 contestants competing for a spot amongst the Top 3 in order to compete in the finale. Despite all the performers putting forward their best foot, Fritz and Nicolina failed to amass enough votes from the audience leading to their elimination. On the other hand, Noah Thompson, HunterGirl, and Leah garnered the majority of votes securing them a spot in the finale. Needless to say, fans were far from thrilled with the finale lineup as two of the three performers (Noah and HunterGirl) sing country music, a genre that's notoriously popular amongst the show's audience. Determined to break the country music singers winning the competition streak, fans are now rooting for Leah, who dabbles in pop, to win the season.

Several fans took to Twitter determined to make Leah the next winner just so country music won't win yet again. A fan tweeted, "Everyone that wanted Nicolina and Fritz in the final needs to vote for Leah. Show Idol America is tired of #countryidol that is if Idol even uses viewer votes or is the winner predetermined based on demographics #AmericanIdol." "So I guess we’ll just call @AmericanIdol “Country Idol” now? Absolutely ridiculous that two of the top three are from that genre. All my votes are going to Leah (as they have all season). #AmericanIdol," wrote a fan. "Might as well change the shows name to Country Idol Country singers have one the show the last 3 years. Enough. I really hope Leah wins. #AmericanIdol," echoed a fan.
