'Francesca really snaked Dom for Damian?': Fans outrage after most shocking betrayal on 'Perect Match'

Francesca is the focus of much of the drama, as she can change her tactics and emotions on a dime

PANAMA CITY, PANAMA: If you've finished watching the four episodes of 'Perfect Match,' which premiered February 14 on Netflix, you're no doubt as surprised as any viewer of the reality show TV by the cliffhanger ending. Francesca Farago and Dom Gabriel, who found each other on the first night in the house and remained faithful to each other, may have broken up when Francesca set herself up on a date with another man.

"Chaotic" is the best word to characterize 'Perfect Match,' which pairs singles from Netflix reality series such as 'The Circle,' 'The Mole,' 'Too Hot To Handle' and 'Love Is Blind.' Contestants compete in pairs, and winners can play matchmaker or break up other pairs to be the last couple standing. While some contestants approach the game more methodically, Francesca from 'Too Hot To Handle' quickly connects with Damian Powers from 'Love Is Blind' when he appears on the board as a potential new contender. Francesca reveals that she must first date Damian before committing to Dom 100 percent, which puts her partner Dom on the sidelines.

Francesca pulls a Chase and leaves Dom hanging

The couples sign up for their new challenge, which is a kind of auction. Imagine all the Survivor producers sitting around brainstorming. This game is similar to the beta version of a challenge that is subsequently abandoned. Dom thinks Alaska is a country, and Joey is not sure if China is. In the end, Dom and Francesca win.

Dom reveals on their date that he does not know what a fig is, and at one point mistakes a papaya for a carrot. They return to the villa, where the rest of the ensemble plays a ridiculous but entertaining game of truth or dare. Everyone is having a great time and does not take the game seriously. Then Francesca is given a dare. She must share a banana with another person, like in 'Lady and the Tramp.' Innocent and stupid. It does not matter to Dom, because it brings him to the brink of madness. Francesca renounces the dare to calm her sensitive husband.

Francesca and Dom decide in the boardroom that Bartise Bowden is the ideal match for Ines Tazi, until Francesca pulls a Chase DeMoor and picks Damian for herself. She kicks her guy to the curb! Dom has no choice but to return to the villa alone with a message. The game has officially begun.

'Dislike her even more now' 

Francesca's choice surprised everyone in the house, including Dom. It's easy to see why Dom and Francesca recently won a compatibility challenge. So why give up in a show where compatibility is crucial to winning? Fans would have claimed that Dom and Francesca were the biggest competitors in the villa after the first three episodes, but that is called into question at the end of episode 4 when Francesca decides to date someone she has a history with, former 'Love is Blind' contestant Damian. At the end of the episode, Dom is understandably heartbroken and so are the viewers.

One fan wrote, "So we really bout to sit through Francesca and Damian again." Seeing Francesca flip withing first few episodes, made a fan write, "So wait Francesca goes full on Catty claws out against Savanah to go on a date with someone from get past? #perfectmatch Dom you fool your to loyal for that." Slamming her further, a fan wrote, "I am so pissed off with Francesca right now. What she did to our loyal boy Damian was so wrong!" Seeing Dom break down after getting dumped, a fan writes, "If I didn’t watch Dom on the Mole I would say the cries are fake, man is so gullible and trusting Francesca is not his perfect match, but please keep him in the game."

One fan also tweeted, "LEMME GET THIS STRAIGHT Francesca gets into it with savannah for trying to chat up Dom (Francescas match) and then the very next day PUTS HERSELF ON A DATE WITH SOMEONE ELSE??? I have disliked Francesca since too hot to handle and I dislike her even more now." While comparing Francesca to Chase a fan writes, "Chase & Francesca are playing the same game. Chase was just more direct about it & Francesca is playing safe with Dom until someone she wants comes in for her to attempt things with. Dom don’t deserve that but we see he definitely wears his heart on his sleeve." Another fan wrote, "francesca really snaked dom FOR DAMIEN?! and after she told him they were just friends." One fan quipped, "Lol Dom definitely didn't watch THTH because if he did, he would know that Francesca doesn't like gentlemen."

Calling Damian an 'LIB reject' a fan wrote, "Why’d Francesca have to do my boy Dom so dirty? For this LIB reject? Nahhhh fam." Speaking of how Francesca was never into Dom, another viewer commented, "Listen!!! Fran is a horrible person. I am crying laughing cus I expected nothing less. I want to feel bad for Dom but if he wasn't so far up her ass he would have noticed she wasn't that in to him."

Now that Damian and Francesca are reunited on 'Perfect Match,' which airs its second episode on February 21, it will be exciting to see how their relationship will help or hinder them in the competition. Viewers will not know how Damian and Francesca's reunion went until next week, but she told Dom that she wanted to rip off the metaphorical band-aid with him and come clean, because they definitely had a lot to talk about.

The first four episodes of 'Perfect Match' are now available on Netflix. New episodes air on Tuesdays. Stay tuned for the next set of episodes, which will be released on February 21.
