'Love Is Blind' is an unexpected show. A social experiment of this measure has the potential to ruin or preserve lives. For Damian and Giannina, especially, it has been an out-of-the-world experience. They are in love and it shows.

When Damian went down on his knees and asked Giannina's hand in marriage, he didn't know what was next because she had gone silent for minutes. And then, she said she'd like to say something first. One could see that Damian had lost his confidence because he was expecting a hard pass from her, but she went ahead and surprised him with: "Damian, will you marry me?"

This was easily the highlight of the first 5 episodes of Netflix's dating reality show. Suited and dressed up, the couple meets for the first time and they hug, kiss and appreciate each other. Their chemistry is palpable and there is this spark that helped to springboard their relationship into something more meaningful.

When in Cancun, Mexico, Damian said that he would want to get to know Giannina better before they get intimate, but she made her intentions very clear in the green-room interview. "I want to tear his clothes off," Giannina said while appreciating Damian's gentlemanly approach. As he began ordering food for their romantic date night at the hotel room, she said she wasn't hungry anymore. Damian asked if she would like some dessert, to which she said: "I am the dessert."

Of course, they had fun that night and the morning after, they head for a couple's massage session, during which they gave each other massages under the supervision of trained professionals. Their day out consisted of a relaxing boat ride, which quickly turned sour because Damian refused to open up about certain things that were troubling him. This hurt Giannina because she believes open communication is the key to building a healthy relationship.

However, Damian was able to express his true feelings to Giannina later. He said how he had to give up on his job to be a  part of the show and it scares him what if he doesn't get a job and is unable to provide for her and give her all that she deserves. Even though she is capable of earning her own money and can look after herself, Giannina was extremely happy and thrilled to know that Damian thinks of her in those terms.

It was a very happy two-day vacation for the couple. The two were, hopefully, able to understand each other at a deeper level and are ready to take the next steps.
