DENVER, COLORADO: 'Married At First Sight' Season 17 star Chloe Brown joined the Lifetime show's social experiment late but instantly bonded with fellow wives.

However, during their recent appearance in part 1 of the reunion, 'MAFS' wives Emily Balch, Clare Kerr, Becca Haley, and Lauren Good stirred speculation of discord with Chloe, sparking rumors of a potential rift.

During the 'MAFS' Season 17 reunion, the cast was split into two groups, with men and women seated on opposite sides. Notably, Chloe broke ranks with the wives and sat beside her estranged husband, Michael Shiakallis. The decision by Lifetime producers to assign seats separately to Chloe and the other wives appeared to reflect existing tension or discord among them.

However, the social media users were baffled over the seating arrangement and wrote, "Idk. Something about Chloe away from the girls is… idk." Another person added, "Oh… and she’s (Chloe) not sitting with them!" Another critic noted, "Chloe is over this group!!" One user wrote, "The women not involving Chloe is very telling."

Another Instagram user commented, "These women look more part of the Mean Girls movie cast. They act like they are in high school. They even wore pink all season. Like they have a pact. They don't even have their own identity." One viewer said, "The girls outside of Chloe and Lauren are abs horrendous. And I hope Becca doesn’t use the word 'optics.'"

Chloe Brown ditches to co-ordinate with 'MAFS' Season 17 wives

The unusual seating arrangement during the 'MAFS' Season 17 cast's start wasn't the only factor fueling speculation of estrangement. Chloe Brown stood out by not coordinating with the other wives, opting for a pink dress instead of the agreed-upon purple outfits. The 'MAFS' Season 17 women seemingly made a pact to wear pink in the 'After Party' and Chloe also joined them in the trend.

However, during the reunion, Chloe notably deviated from the pink dress code. Moreover, she chose not to join the other women backstage or in the dressing room. This departure from the group caught the attention of viewers of the Lifetime show, who commended Chloe for her independence in not adhering to the pink attire.

A social media user wrote, "4 ladies all wearing pink and Chloe not being included says a lot. I will not make assumptions but that wasn't an accident IMO." Another person added, "I think they wore pink because they’re the Mean Girls. That’s why Chloe is wearing purple. Classless."

One critic noted, "They couldn't fill Chloe in on the Pink Pact they've had all season?" Another wrote, "Chloe so glad you didn’t wear pink!!!"

Another internet user said, "I respect Chloe for not joining the Withes of DeCo Pink Pack! I don’t want hear ANYTHING LaurenOrion have to say - they lasted 4 Scaramucci’s."One fan posted, "That's no excuse for the ladies to not say to Chloe hey we are wearing pink for tg show. Lol smh."

Chloe Brown doubts Michael Shiakallis' intention

'MAFS' Season 17 star Chloe Brown called out her ex-husband, Michael Shiakallis, over his intention of continuing their marriage. During the reunion part 1, Chloe shared, "When I say that it was not until his 'no' on Decision Day that I started saying, 'Wow, so maybe this is why he didn't tell his mom.'" Chloe elaborated, "Maybe it really was the fact that he didn’t intend to stay married."

Michael defended himself, asserting that his family was aware of Chloe, except for his mother, and added, "I think a little bit before our one-month timeframe." However, Chloe chimed in and explained that she wouldn't be hurt by Michael sharing his truth.
