DENVER, COLORADO: 'Married At First Sight' Season 17 star Chloe Brown and Michael Shiakallis have reached their Decision Day segment after celebrating their first month anniversary. The couple must decide whether they want to continue their marriage or call it quits. Chloe and Michael had been on the same page for multiple matters but the decision day appeared to tear them apart.
In the preview of the upcoming episode, Chloe admitted that she felt 'torn' while making the 'crucial' decision about her marriage with Michael. She met her friend at a restaurant and confessed, "It's hard for me to imagine my life without him, and yet, at the same time I don’t know that we're meant to be." Chloe further claimed, "I've never been so torn in my entire life."
Just before the Decision Day, Chloe admitted, "I'm nervous. Definitely feeling a little scared. I don't know where we'll land. He and I may not have the same goals. But despite Michael and I being different, I can't imagine my life without him." The preview also showed a glimpse of Chloe and Michael's conversation with the expert Pastor Cal.
Chloe shared with the Lifetime show expert, "I'm the all-in or I’m the all-out and I need a partner that's very much the same."
Michael Shiakallis feels 'confident' about his marriage with Chloe Brown
Chloe Brown must have hesitation about her future with her husband but Michael Shiakallis claimed to be 'confident' about their marriage. Michael told his friend, "I feel confident to like say that we can continue this marriage."
However, Michael later admitted to the cameras, "Decision Day is upon us. I'm feeling good about where I'm at. We'll see how everything goes." Michael elaborated, "The easiest part about being married to Chloe were what I thought were going to be the hardest parts." He explained, There are certain things that she's just much more passionate about than I am. I never thought that marriage equals sacrificing your independence. But I do believe it looks a little different."
He met Chloe before the Decision Day and told her, "I came into this knowing that I have to lean into what my compass has been and that's just how I feel about the ability to develop and work on a marriage."
Chloe Brown's future plans scare Michael Shiakallis
Chloe Brown and Michael Shiakallis are the only remaining couple on the Lifetime show and appear to be less dramatic than the others. However, Chloe and Michael appeared to be not on the same page when it comes to future kids. In the previous episode of the Lifetime show, Michael and Chloe went on a trip to an animal sanctuary.
During their trip, Chloe shared that she wanted to own a large sanctuary with hundreds of animals. Additionally, Chloe wanted to foster at least five teenagers if they chose to remain married after Decision Day. Chloe's plans 'scared' and 'overwhelmed' Michael and he started questioning his marriage.
