'Catfish': Nev and Kamie encounter one of their wildest cases of catfishing
This week on 'Catfish', Nev and Kamie will help Jeremiah find out if the woman he's been talking to on the Internet is indeed who she has claimed to be. The summary of the episode reads, "Jeremiah will need divine intervention to find his spiritual love, Linda. He had hoped they were heading for holy matrimony but after Nev and Kamie dig a little deeper, he feels that his relationship might be heading for disaster." Jeremiah loves Jesus but he also loves Linda, the woman with who he connected on the Internet. But chances are he's being catfished by his baby mama. Let's dive right into the episode.
Who is Linda on 'Catfish'?
Jeremiah is very inclined toward religion and spirituality and that's how he bonded with Linda who he came across on a dating app. Before her, Jeremiah was in a relationship with the mother of his one-and-a-half-year-old son. What drove a wedge between him and his baby mama who he dated for four years was his church and its conservative ideologies. Jeremiah was told he was not the right person for herself by his baby mama and he respected her thoughts and moved ahead.
Jeremiah found Linda from Florida and they got talking. It's safe to say, he is in love and the adjectives he used to describe her to Nev and Kamie were some of the sweetest. He is ready to move ahead in life with Linda but there are a few suspicions that cropped up along the way. She never FaceTimed him stating she was technically challenged and the other concern Jeremiah had was she never spoke to him over the phone past the initial pleasantries. Nev and Kamie believe Jeremiah's situation smells very fishy and suspect it could be his baby mama who is catfishing him. But what is the truth? We'll only find out when the episode airs.
