ZUTPHEN, NETHERLANDS: 'American Idol' Season 22 contestant Ziggy Krassenberg is a pop artist and reality television star from the Netherlands.
Ziggy won Amazon Prime Video's surviving show 'Good Luck Guys' Season 1 with his partner. Quinn Bezemer. He entered the show with his friend, King Faisel.
Ziggy reflected on his winning gig on social media and shared a series of photos with his co-players.
Alongside the photos, he penned, "Proud to finally say that Quinn and I won season 1 of 'Good Luck Guys'🥰🏆." He added, "I’m so incredibly proud of both of us, we’ve been through so much together and fought so hard for our spot!"
Besides his reality television gig, he is a social media influencer with more than 34k followers on his Instagram and more than 320k on TikTok, where he also has nearly 10 million likes.
Ziggy often shares his videos singing his originals on social media. He notably has around 150K likes on his cover of Celine Dion's song 'My Heart Will Go On'.
The ABC show contestant known for his fun and charming personality studied Economics at The Municipal Zutphen. Ziggy started singing in 2017 and according to his LinkedIn profile, he has taken his singing career to a professional level in recent years.
He has been in a relationship with Sylvius Roeles and has documented their romance in a series of social media posts.
Ziggy Krassenberg makes his English song debut
Ziggy Krassenberg kicked off his singing career at a very young age. He released a song called 'Candyrush' in November 2022 which soon became a fan's favourite.
He soon dropped a duet, 'Suikerspin' with female artist Celester, which amassed more than 1.2 million streams on Spotify. However, the singer recently made his English debut song, 'Sugar'.
He started his professional singing career with the Dutch version of 'American Idol'. He was 15 years old when he auditioned for the ABC show but unfortunately failed to advance to the next round.
However, Ziggy never lost hope and auditioned in Holland's version of 'The Voice' Season 10 in 2019.
During the blind audition, the contestant's stirring performance on Brian May's 'Too Much Love Will Kill You' led to a four-chair turn. He advanced to the knockouts before being eliminated in the next round.
During his appearance, he also performed 'Losing My Religion' and Guy Sebastian's 'Before I Go'.

Ziggy Krassenberg used his social media to promote his 'American Idol' Season 22 gig from the last few days.
In a recent post, he shared a transition video of himself with a throwback photo which changed into his latest video from the ABC show set as soon as the beat dropped.
Alongside the video, he shared, "2 years ago when everyone said that I was just a Meme without any talent, I would never believe that I am auditioning @americanidol."
In another video, Ziggy announced his gig and said, "It's me Ziggy and I'm on the new 'American Idol' season." He added, "Get ready for showstopper performances. Mark your calendars because it's going to be fierce."
He further teased in the caption, "Get ready to witness the extraordinary talent and captivating stories as American Idol returns in all its fabulous glory! 🎤."
Ziggy also shared a preview of the upcoming episode. He appeared to be in tears as 'American Idol' Luke Bryan said, "I started this show I didn't realize how much I would grow as a person."
