When TWICE debuted in 2015, the K-pop group's label JYPE’s focus was mainly on the Asian market. But the unprecedented global popularity is evident through several of their songs going viral like ‘TT’, ‘Cheer Up’ and ‘Fancy’. And with fans requesting an English language comeback, the girl group finally complied and dropped their first-ever original English song, ‘The Feels’. Well, ever since its release, it has been dominating the charts from iTunes to Billboard.

The Feels’ topped several global charts like AWA Hot 100 in Japan, South Korea’s Bugs and iTunes in 31 countries on the first day of its release. And now, the K-pop girl group has broken personal Billboard records. TWICE saw their first entry on the international platform’s Hot 100 chart with ‘The Feels’. TWICE chart on Billboard with 'The Feels'

During their previous comeback, TWICE had made Billboard history with the K-pop mini-album, ‘Taste of Love’. It became the first mini-album by a K-pop girl group to peak at #6 on Billboard 200. It also became the second-highest K-pop girl group’s album following Blackpink’s studio album, ‘The Album’, which stands at #2. And now, Billboard also announced that ‘The Feels’ peaked at #5 on the Digital Song Sales chart.

This is the highest-ranking for a girl group song on Billboard’s Digital Song Sales chart in 2021. Previously, it had been held by Little Mix’s ‘Confetti’ that had peaked at #48. As for personal records, TWICE got their first entry on the Spain Digital Song Sales chart at #10 and on the Hot Canadian Digital Song Sales chart at #12. They also had their highest peak with ‘The Feels’ on the Global 200 chart at #12. Additionally, the digital single is at #29 on the Billboard Japan Hot 100 and is the highest-ranking TWICE song on Canadian Hot 100 chart at #56.
