Which actor was the best Batman? Results of online poll may leave you surprised
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: A subject that will always have people debating would be who played Batman best. Over the years, many celebrated actors, including George Clooney and Val Kilmer, portrayed the caped crusader. This debate may be ending soon as data gathered by the Valencia Theater Seating, a home entertainment furniture manufacturing company, showed that Micheal Keaton continues to be the most popular actor to portray Batman in the live-action movies, winning 23 states while Christian Bale came in second place with 18 votes from the more than 150,000 tweets that were analysed. Ben Affleck comes ahead of Robert Pattinson, winning seven states against two.
The evaluation of geo-tagged tweets from the past three months that contained phrases like "[Keaton/Bale/Clooney] is the best Batman," "best Batman," "GOAT Batman," and "best live-action Batman" helped to formulate the rankings.

Micheal Keaton's Batman
Only two movies have featured Keaton as Batman to date, which are 'Batman' (1989) and 'Batman Returns' (1992). At the time, his casting was viewed as controversial because he was primarily recognised for his humorous performances in movies such as 'Mr. Mom' and 'Beetlejuice'. Keaton defeated a diverse group of potential performers, including Mel Gibson, Charlie Sheen, Bill Murray and Tim Burton's preference, the then-unknown Willem Dafoe, with the support of Batman producer Jon Peters, who was persuaded by his tormented performance in the addiction thriller 'Clean and Sober'.
Christian Bale's Batman
From 2005 to 2012, Bale portrayed Batman in Christopher Nolan's 'The Dark Knight' Trilogy, which soon become quite iconic in the history of cinema. The trilogy included 'Batman Begins' (2005), 'The Dark Knight' (2008) and 'The Dark Knight Rises' (2012), with the movies starring Christian Bale, Michael Caine, Gary Oldman, Morgan Freeman, and Cillian Murphy. After 'The Dark Knight Rises', Bale decided to leave the role, and Ben Affleck and Robert Pattinson later took over as Batman.
