LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: In 1989, Michael Keaton stunned the entire world with an epic performance as Batman in Tim Burton’s ‘Batman’. The actor reprised the role of the Dark Knight in the sequel ‘Batman Returns’ and said that he wouldn’t be portraying the character in the upcoming films. Everyone thought they would never see Keaton wearing that iconic costume again, but Warner Bros. had other ideas. The production giant just released the first official trailer of Ezra Miller’s ‘The Flash’ and apart from gorgeous visuals we also got to see the first look at Keaton’s Batman.

Yes, you heard it right. After a wait of 31 years, the ‘Batman Returns’ star has donned the iconic costume to reprise the role of Bruce Wayne, aka Batman, in the upcoming movie. In the trailer, we see Ezra Miller creating a different universe in which he can live happily with his mother. His mother died when he was really young and his life changed drastically after that incident. The universe he created has changed the entire timeline and given new life to the diabolical General Zod (Michael Shannon). This newly created universe doesn’t have any meta-humans and it is now being attacked by the Zod and his army. It is at that moment, we get to see Michael Keaton’s Batman emerging and saying, “I’m Batman.”

‘The Flash’ has seen a lot of delays over the years and the movie was actually going to release in 2018, but things went from bad to worse in terms of production. However, the recently released trailer has finally given a sigh of relief to the fans that the film is finally going to be out in the next 3-4 months. Along with the trailer, WB also shared a new synopsis for the upcoming movie which reads, “Worlds collide in The Flash when Barry uses his superpowers to travel back in time in order to change the events of the past. But when his attempt to save his family inadvertently alters the future, Barry becomes trapped in a reality in which General Zod has returned, threatening annihilation, and there are no Super Heroes to turn to. That is unless Barry can coax a different Batman out of retirement and rescue an imprisoned Kryptonian… albeit not the one he’s looking for. Ultimately, to save the world that he is in and return to the future that he knows, Barry’s only hope is to race for his life. But will making the ultimate sacrifice be enough to reset the universe?”
