‘DWTS’ Season 35 has a major reveal coming as fans await celebrity-pro pairings
Currently running ‘DWTS: The Next Pro’ has five remaining dancers competing to win the challenge. Along with the winning trophy, the winner will also be chosen to become one of the pro dancers in the upcoming ‘DWTS’ Season 35. Fans have been eagerly looking forward to learning more about the upcoming dance competition’s celebrity contestants and the pro dancers who will be paired with them. Notably, according to ‘DWTS’ insider Kristyn Burtt, the first celebrity-pro pairing is expected to be revealed on Monday, August 17, on ‘Good Morning America’. She shared the update via TikTok.
While ABC has yet to officially confirm, fans are eagerly waiting for the first ‘DWTS’ celebrity-pro pairing reveal. Additionally, the show makers have disclosed four celebrities who will be participating in the ABC dance competition series. This includes ‘Summer House’ star Ciara Miller, ‘Love Island’ alum Maura Higgins, Savannah Bananas player Jackson Olson, and Guillermo Rodriguez from ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’ Hence, chances are one of these already confirmed celebrity contestants might be revealed along with their pro dance partner. Otherwise, a new celebrity might also get revealed in the said unconfirmed upcoming reveal.
According to Burtt, the reveal is likely to promote the currently running debut season of ‘DWTS: The Next Pro.’ As of now, the remaining five contestants, including Nina Mayster, Adele Zaikman, Allen Genkin, Selena Hamilton, and AJ Pritchard, are competing on the show. One of these five will be crowned the first-season winner and also one of the pro dancers on ‘DWTS’ Season 35. For the upcoming August 17 episode of ‘The Next Pro’, the competition will feature Witney Carson as the guest judge. She has won ‘DWTS’ twice: once in 2014 with Alfonso Ribeiro and again in 2025, paired with Robert Irwin. Robert is also currently hosting ‘The Next Pro.’ Apart from that, the semi-final episode, set to air on August 24, will feature Kym Johnson.
Furthermore, the official ‘DWTS’ Season 35 celebrity and pro pairings are scheduled to be released on ‘Good Morning America’ on Wednesday, September 2. As for the upcoming ‘Dancing with the Stars’ Season 35, it will premiere on September 15 on ABC, Disney+, and the next day on Hulu.
