‘DWTS’ contestant reveals who she thinks will win ‘The Next Pro’: ‘I feel like…’
‘DWTS: The Next Pro’ Week 5 featured an elimination as Erik Linder was sent home during 'Wow Moments with Daniella Karagach.' This came after he and Selena found themselves in danger. After his elimination, the remaining dancers moving forward ahead of the finale are: Allen Genkin, Selena Hamilton, AJ Pritchard, Adele Zaikman, and Nina Mayster. Stephani Sosa, who was eliminated along with Tristen Sanders in Week 4, recently spoke to Parade about who she thought would win ‘DWTS: The Next Pro.’ "All of them are amazing in their own way," she said. However, she revealed, "I feel like I’m really rooting for Allen because I know how great of a teacher he is and I’m not sure about the others and how they are at teaching."
Elaborating on how well her fellow contestants have been performing, she noted, “They’re all phenomenal. Anyone that gets through these next couple of challenges definitely deserves to be a pro because the challenges are only going to get harder, so if they’re able to go through those and make it all the way to the end then I feel like this is going to be perfect.” While opening up about the show, she added that she would love to see the other contestants' rehearsals. “We didn’t really get to see the other peoples’ rehearsals. We only got to see what was shown on TV, so I only know what happened between me and Tristen (Sanders) in rehearsals. I hope that moving forward, the show shows more of the rehearsal side of creating the routines and all that process, because that’s very important.”
While Stephani was on the show, she accidentally hurt fellow dancer Natalie Jolley, who was rushed to the hospital and later withdrew from the competition because of her injury. The next week, Stephani was eliminated after the judges, along with guest judge Jenna Johnson, evaluated her performance. Five dancers will now compete against each other as the ‘DWTS: The Next Pro’ finale nears. The next episode will air on August 17, 2026, with Witney Carson as the guest judge. The episode is titled 'But Can You Teach? Coaching Superfans with Witney Carson'. The semi-finale is scheduled to air on August 24, 2026, followed by the finale, which is expected to air on August 31. Fans can stream the latest episodes of the show on ABC, Disney+, and Hulu.
