Will Lindsay Arnold return for ‘DWTS’ Season 35? Here’s what the former pro dancer says
With the upcoming ‘Dancing with the Stars’ (DWTS) Season 35 approaching and revealing its remaining contestants and pro dancers, fans are eagerly waiting to know more about the two. The details will be officially announced after ‘DWTS: The Next Pro’ reveals the winner, who will also be one of the pro dancers for the upcoming ‘DWTS’ Season 35. Before that, a former ‘DWTS’ pro dancer, Lindsay Arnold, opened up about her potential return to the show. In an exclusive report from US Weekly, Lindsay revealed, “I’ve always said that I will literally never say never because I love the show. There’s so many aspects of it that I miss.”
The 32-year-old dancer, who is now a mom of three, added, “In a perfect world, I could do the show and also do all the other things I have and also take my kids to all of their things and also be home. … But I think right now, I am just absolutely loving and embracing this phase of life that we’re in.” Further in her interview, the ‘DWTS’ pro alum noted, “I’m not doing anything or adding anything into my life unless it’s going to make my days easier because it’s just crazy.” She added, “I think one of the biggest things that I live by across the board is embracing every stage of life that I am in. I think it’s so easy in this culture to feel like we need to bounce back from whatever it is to always stay in this pristine premium phase of life.”
Lindsay debuted on the dance competition in 2013 during the show’s Season 13. She has also served as a troupe member from Season 17 to Season 20. From Season 21 to 28, she was a pro dancer on the show. She has also won ‘DWTS’ Season 17 while she was paired with actor and singer Jordan Fisher. Later, due to her first pregnancy, she left in Season 29, followed by her return in Season 30. She was paired with Matt James.
During her April 13 appearance on ‘The Squeeze’ podcast, Lindsay reflected on balancing her life as a pro and also being a mother. “It was just a very, very, very different experience for me. The show, as a pro, is a 24/7 job. Everything just felt different. Like, it was hard. It was really, really hard.” She noted that by the end of Season 30, she felt her “energy” was in a “different place.” To know which pro dancers will be returning and joining the upcoming ‘DWTS’ Season 35, fans need to wait a little longer until the official announcement.
