Episode 18 of ‘The Voice’ season 21 saw two singers getting eliminated while one got saved as a total of 11 from the top 13 moved to the next round. While viewers were elated with the voting results of many, there were a few contestants who faced the wrath of social media after reserving a seat in the top 11. Joshua Vacanti from Team Legend was one of the singers that the Internet felt did not deserve to advance to the top 11.

Many took to Twitter as they wondered if America knew how to vote and even asked who was really voting for Joshua. The 28-year-old crooner from Lockport, New York had also performed alongside John Legend and other team members namely Shadale and Jershika Maple on the latest episode that aired on Tuesday, November 16. The talented singer is best known for his Broadway-style voice that had first attracted John Legend and Ariana Grande during the blind auditions. Legend had blocked Ariana to bag the singer in his team.

I love you all from the bottom of my heart!!! Ahhhh!!!! I wish we could all be together to celebrate this moment!!!

He continued, “So honored to have shared the stage with my Legend family tonight!!! We SANG that song!!!! + we looked good doing it.
