Episode 18 of ‘The Voice’ Season 21 was an absolute nail-biter for the audience as the Top 13 fought for the Top 11 positions sending two contestants back home. The trio called Girl Named Tom and the father-son duo Jim and Sasha Allen were some of the early saves of the night that irked fans on Twitter. However, many erupted with joy when singers namely Hailey Mia and Paris Winningham made it to the top 11.

Contestants namely Gymani, Shadele, and Ryleigh Plank landed in the bottom three sending others safely to the next round. Out of the three, two had to go back home. After a lot of suspense, the show’s host Carson Daly announced that Shadele from Team John and Ryleigh Plank from Team Ariana had to end their journey right there. Gymani proved to be the instant save leaving her stunned. Kelly Clarkson then rushed to the stage to congratulate the singer with a warm hug. Social media users were elated with the result but asked why Gymani was even in the bottom three in the first place despite being an amazing singer.

The next one tweeted, “Gymani being in the bottom is an absolute embarrassment America. Im happy she’s safe but what is wrong with y’all’s ears.” One chimed in and claimed, “She ate Ryleigh flat a** up.” Echoing similar sentiments, one user said, “Gymani’s IS performance is actually better than her performance last night. We watched her eat Shadale and Ryleigh on live tv and left no crumbs. Totally deserving of the IS win!” One individual posted, “I still don't understand the disconnect between the viewers & @IAmGymani. She's consistently one of the strongest every week”, as another concluded, “She so deserved it! But she shouldn’t have even needed a save in the first place wtf America.”
