Performing one of the coaches songs' for blind auditions on 'The Voice' is a very bold move on the part of the contestants as it could either backfire really badly or leave the original singer speechless. 23-year-old Gymani from Georgia decided to take this huge risk when she decided to perform new coach Ariana Grande's hit number 'POV' for her blind auditions.

Gymani's rendition of POV was so amazing that she got all four chair turns from the coaches. Although Ariana Grande is the original performer of the song she was beyond impressed by Gymani's spin on her song. Ariana declared that it was Gymani's song and said, 'That's your song now, take it.' Needless to say, that's a pretty huge compliment for any performer, and the young single mother from Georgia couldn't stop gushing. Considering she sang Ariana's song and received praises from the singer herself, fans expected Gymani to join Team Ariana, but she shocked everyone by picking Team Kelly instead.

After Gymani's performance, all the four coaches began pitching themselves to convince Gymani to join their team. Although the Georgia native didn't perform a country song, Blake Shelton was still impressed by her vocals and range so he tried his hardest to get her on his team by pointing out how he has had maximum wins on the show and that she could be the next one if she joins his team. Ariana declared that she would do anything to have her on Team Ariana.

John Legend just promised to help Gymani reach new heights while Kelly Clarkson just showered praises upon praises on the performer. When it was finally time for reveal whose team she would like to join, Gymani coyly announced that she would like to have Kelly as her coach. Just like fans, Kelly too was shocked by her decision and said that she never saw it coming considering Ariana was a threat. Kelly has had a decent run on the show and her ability to dabble between genres makes her a pretty good coach. On the other hand, this is Ariana's first season, so the new coach might need a couple of seasons to learn the ropes. So Gymani might have made the right decision after all by picking Kelly over Ariana.

Many fans were however puzzled by Gymani's decision. A fan tweeted, "No cause how could gymani choose ariana’s song, leave her speechless and in a state of shock, and not choose her as a coach???? #TheVoice." "@arianagrande #VoicePremiere Ariana. I'm still speechless over that last performance of The Voice When Gymani was singing your song “POV” I was like WTF like OMFG! I knew she going to choose you, Ariana, until she blew everyone's minds off the way by choosing Kelly I was like WTF," echoed another fan. "ARE YOU FKN KIDDING ME??!!! THAT DID NOT TRY JUST HAPPEN GYMANI??!!!! WOW I LOVE KELLY BUT THAT WAS THE ULTIMATE FINESSE #THEVOICE," commented a fan.

"#TheVoice Gymani knows she and Kelly will just click together! I’m soooo happy for them both! #KellyClarkson is AWESOMENESS," added a fan.
