Dune (2021), directed by Denis Villeneuve, is the first part of a two-part adaptation of Frank Herbert's 1965 science fiction novel. Set in the distant future, the film follows Paul Atreides as his family, the noble House Atreides, is thrust into a war for control over Arrakis, the only source of the universe's most valuable substance, Spice.
