Tyson Venegas flaunts his dance moves

Adam Lambert mentored Tyson and called the aspiring singer "the sweetest guy". Tyson has performed with piano in the previous rounds but now he wanted to do something different. He wanted to sing a more upbeat number. Adam suggested that Tyson should perform Stevie Wonder's song. The aspiring singer sang 'For Once In My Life' and showed off some dance moves. Luke dubbed his performance "so comfortable…you weren't even trying to make the magic happen." Lionel praised his choreography. Meanwhile, Katy said, "You were on fire." Katy also complimented his stage presence and versatility and suggested Tyson just be himself. The pop singer even compared Tyson with another contestant Zachariah and said to have a duet sometime.

'That was terrible'

Tyson wanted to earn viewers' votes with his falsetto and dance moves. However, social media users dubbed the aspiring singer's dance moves "terrible". A social media user commented, "The 'funny' thing is Tyson isn't a good dancer, which is why its so odd why he wants to do it so much. He looked so awkward up there." Another viewer said, "Tyson wanted to dance so badly. Just bring the vocals!"

Another user added, "Tyson chicken? Karaoke like. Hope he doesn’t hurt himself with that dancing. 😂🤦‍♂️." One Instagram user wrote, "That was terrible. Tyson almost tripped or was that dancing? And Katy brought up Burger Boy 👦. 😂."

Some fans also took to Twitter to share their reactions to Tyson's performance. "Tyson has sucked every weak he has performed .... but idol put him first so he can survived. just admit it idol platinum tickets need to go," tweeted one user. Another said, "But Tyson first so platinum ticket can survive pathetic."
