KINGSTOWN, MICHIGAN: 'Mayor of Kingstown' Season 3 kicks off with a bang as new villains disrupt Mike McLusky's (Jeremy Renner) world, bringing fresh chaos and challenges that jeopardize his control over Kingstown.

In 'Mayor of Kingstown' Season 3 Episode 1, two significant antagonists are introduced, ready to challenge Mike's efforts to maintain order in Kingstown.

Konstantin (Yorick van Wageningen), a powerful Russian mobster, and Merle Callahan (Richard Brake), the leader of an Aryan gang, emerge as formidable threats.

In 'Mayor of Kingstown' Season 3 Episode 2, another new character, Anna Fletcher (Paula Malcomson), is introduced. However, she exudes an air of mystery, leaving viewers to speculate if she might be the real villain.

Who is Anna Fletcher?

In 'Mayor of Kingstown' Season 3 Episode 2, takes center stage, becoming a pivotal character as she seeks Mike's help as his first civilian client.

This comes after Mike has spent weeks dealing with the issues of gang hierarchies within the prison system.

Anna reveals to Mike that her son was murdered by a close friend, confiding in him about the heartbreaking loss. Despite the parole board's decision, Anna remains resolute in her determination to oppose the killer's release from prison.

Anna seeks Mike's assistance in expanding her efforts to prevent the killer's release from prison. She reveals to Mike that a young man named Greg Stewart was the one responsible for her son's death.

Greg is incarcerated at StoneBrook Prison, and after serving several years, the parole board has decided to release him. Despite Mike's efforts, he is unable to overturn Greg's parole.

Mike informs Anna that Greg has been an exemplary prisoner, consistently following all regulations and demonstrating good behavior during his time in incarceration.

However, Anna takes matters into her own hands and exacts revenge by killing Greg, the boy she believes is responsible for her son's death, at the bus stop.

When Greg steps off the bus, Anna confronts him and fires four shots into his chest. Her introduction in the second episode leaves a lasting impact on viewers.

Is Anna Fletcher the real villain?

Throughout the episode, Anna's behavior raises suspicions. Her interactions and behavior with Mike hint that there might be hidden layers to her story than meets the eye.

She had the option to pursue legal action or directly appeal to the authorities at StoneBrook Prison to oppose Greg's release. However, she wanted Mike's help, expressing that even though he couldn't offer much help, she found comfort in his kindness.

Anna might have ulterior motives, such as seeking revenge against the McLusky family. Alternatively, she could be linked to Konstantin's gang, leveraging her connection to Mike as a means to deceive him in the future.

The McLusky family might have unknowingly wronged Anna or her family in the past, prompting her to seek revenge.

The way Anna killed Greg without hesitation suggests a dark past that viewers are left to speculate about. The incident raises questions about whether Anna has a criminal record or has been involved in similar incidents in the past.

It's also possible that Anna's narrative about Greg being her son's killer is false, and that Greg may not have been involved in her son's death at all.

Anna's decision to wait years before taking action against Greg suggests that her story could be fake.

The fact that prison authorities described Greg as a good man during his time in prison raises doubts about his guilt. It seems likely that Anna is colluding with Konstantin to cause harm to Mike.

Killing Greg could be a part of a larger plan by Anna and Konstantin. By creating a high-profile incident like a murder, Anna and Konstantin could divert attention away from their other illegal activities in Kingstown.
