KINGSTOWN, MICHIGAN: 'Mayor of Kingstown' Season 3 Episode 1 officially dropped on Paramount+ on Sunday, June 2, and fans are eagerly anticipating the next episode. 

'Mayor of Kingstown' Season 3 introduces two key antagonists: Konstantin (Yorick van Wageningen), a formidable Russian mobster whose presence threatens to disrupt the delicate balance of power in Kingstown, and Merle Callahan (Richard Brake), the leader of Aryan gang.

'Mayor of Kingstown' Season 3 Episode 2, titled 'Guts', is set to premiere on Paramount+ on Sunday, June 9, 2024.

The second episode will likely delve into Mike's challenges as he navigates the mounting problems in Kingstown. The arrival of two key antagonists, Konstantin and Callahan, is set to complicate matters further for the mayor. 

The official synopsis of the show reads, 'A series of explosions rock Kingstown and its citizens, as a new face of the Russian mob sets up shop in the city, and a drug war rages inside and outside prison walls.'

What happened in 'Mayor of Kingstown' Season 3 Episode 1?

The Season 3 premiere of 'Mayor of Kingstown' begins with the funeral of Mariam McLusky (Dianne Wiest), Mike's mother. 

However, during the funeral, a bomb is detonated, raising questions about who planted the homemade explosive device. Mike suspects that the Aryan gang may be responsible for the attack. Subsequently, he confronts an Aryan gang member for information about the location of their safe house.

A planned raid aimed at making arrests without resorting to violence takes a dramatic turn when Robert (Hamish Allan-Headley), decides to take matters into his own hands. He detonates a bomb at the house, leading to casualties.

Later on, viewers witness a dramatic scene where Konstantin fatally shoots Tatiana (Gratiela Brancusi), suspecting her of betrayal. However, he does not harm her baby.
