In the Season 3 premiere of 'Mayor of Kingstown', the episode opens with the funeral of Mariam McLusky (Dianne Wiest), Mike McLusky's (Jeremy Renner) mother.

The funeral is attended by Mike's close circle and the entire Kingstown Police Department. However, the mood darkens when a bomb is planted in DA Evelyn Foley's (Necar Zadegan) car, though she survives.

Mike suspects that the Aryan gang may be responsible for the attack. Mike confronts an Aryan gang member for information about the location of their safe house, hoping to gather crucial intelligence to prevent further violence in Kingstown.

Mike plans to conduct a peaceful raid and make arrests without resorting to violence. However, Robert (Hamish Allan-Headley) decides to take matters into his own hands and detonates a bomb at the house, resulting in casualties.

Meanwhile, Bunny Washington's (Tobi Bamtefa) operations come to light as it is discovered that he has been using Kevin Jackson (Denny Love) as a mole within the Correctional Facility, effectively keeping Mike unaware of his activities.

In the last scene, Callahan transfers to the Kingstown Correctional Facility following an attack on the Millhaven Correctional Facility.

In 'Mayor of Kingstown' Season 3 Episode 2, Mayor Mike will likely find himself facing even greater challenges as he navigates the complex web of power, crime, and justice in the town.

As the leader of the Aryan gang, Callahan has the influence and resources to cause disruption and harm within the facility, putting not only McLusky's family but also the entire town at risk.

Konstantin, the Russian mobster, also poses a significant threat to McLusky and his family. With his criminal connections and ruthless nature, Konstantin has the potential to escalate the already volatile situation in Kingstown.
