Mariam McLusky's funeral marred by violence in Episode 1 of 'Mayor of Kingstown'

The first episode of 'Mayor of Kingstown' Season 3 opens with the funeral of Mariam, which is attended by Mike's close friends and family, including the entire Kingstown Police Department (KPD).

However, the sad occasion takes a tragic turn when unknown individuals plant a bomb in DA Evelyn Foley's (Necar Zadegan) car. Evelyn, a key figure in the legal system and a friend to many in Kingstown, survives the attack.

Mike, along with his friends Ian Ferguson (Hugh Dillon), Robert (Hamish Allan-Headley), and Kyle (Taylor Handley), initiates a mission to track down the individual accountable for the explosion.

Mike suspects that either the Whites or the Aryan gang is responsible for planting the bomb in Evelyn's car. As the episode unfolds, Mike confronts and intimidates an Aryan gang member in the alley, coercing him into revealing the location of their safe house.

Mike's intention was to conduct a peaceful raid and make arrests without violence. However, Robert takes matters into his own hands and detonates a bomb at the house, resulting in casualties.

Tatiana meets a tragic end at the hands of Konstantin in Episode 1

Although little is disclosed about Konstantin in the initial episode of 'Mayor of Kingstown' Season 3, he fatally shoots Milo's lover, Tatiana 'Tati' (Gratiela Brancusi) under the assumption that she betrayed him by informing Milo Sunter (Aidan Gillen) about the bomb on the boat, which ultimately led to Milo's survival.

However, Tatiana's son survives. After killing Tati, Konstantin takes the baby into his arms, setting the stage for further dramatic and potentially devastating developments in the storyline.

Konstantin's anger intensifies upon learning of Milo's survival, a development that likely complicates his plans and fuels his desire for revenge.

What is the relationship between Bunny Washington and Kevin Jackson?

It appears that Bunny Washington (Tobi Bamtefa) is up to something, as he has strategically placed a mole within the Correctional Facility.

A young lad named Kevin Jackson (Denny Love) enrolls as the new prison guard at the Correctional Facility. Kevin keeps Bunny in the loop, acting as his eyes and ears within the prison.

However, Bunny has not informed Mike about his arrangement with Kevin. Bunny hides himself on the terrace or in a closed-down building, keeping a low profile while raising security measures.

Meanwhile, Callahan, the leader of the Aryan gang, was transferred to the Kingstown Correctional Facility following an attack on the Millhaven Correctional Facility. This move brought Callahan into the heart of Kingstown's complex and dangerous power dynamics.

What measures will Mike take to ensure his own safety and the safety of his allies in light of recent attacks?
