In 'Mayor of Kingstown' Season 3 Episode 9, Mike devises a bold plan to manipulate rival gangs into clashing, hoping to destabilize their power and regain control of Kingstown’s chaotic streets.

Mike visits Merle Callahan (Richard Brake), the leader of Aryan Brotherhood, in the hospital and tells him that the KPD is targeting Bunny Washington (Tobi Bamtefa) because they know Bunny launched the bomb attack in the prison to kill Merle.

Mike advises Merle to take care, assuring him that the Russians will not be able to complete their business in Kingstown and that he will handle Bunny. However, it seems unlikely that Mike would truly go against Bunny; he might be lying to Merle to prevent him from retaliating.

Later on, Mike meets with Bunny and tells him that he would hand over Merle, but Bunny needs to hear him out first. Clearly, Mike is lying to Bunny, as he likely does not want Bunny to commit murder. Instead, Mike is crafting a larger plan to pit Bunny and Merle against each other.

Mike's strategy doesn't end there. He then meets with Konstantin (Yorick van Wageningen) and asks him to launch an attack on Bunny's weapon supply. Mike convinces Konstantin that Bunny betrayed him, thereby pressuring Konstantin to target Bunny.

Mike is deceitfully manipulating every gang leader in Kingstown, playing a dangerous game of deception to turn them against each other.

By misleading Bunny, Merle, and Konstantin, Mike aims to weaken their alliances and incite conflict. This subterfuge not only keeps the gang leaders preoccupied with battling each other but also prevents them from consolidating their power and targeting Mike.

Mike's ultimate goal appears to be regaining control of Kingstown. By fostering discord among the gangs, he plans to dismantle their strongholds, thereby reducing their influence and reestablishing order on his terms.

However, the volatile nature of gang conflicts means that any misstep could lead to severe repercussions, not just for Mike but for Kingstown. If his deception is uncovered, it could unite the gangs against him.

Milo Sunter's return jeopardizes Mike’s Strategy to control Kingstown

In 'Mayor of Kingstown' Season 3 Episode 9, Roman (Mark Ivanir) goes to obtain papers for Iris's (Emma Laird) new identity, aiming to secure her a fresh start and protect her from the dangers lurking in Kingstown. However, his mission takes a perilous turn when he unexpectedly encounters Milo Sunter (Aidan Gillen).

To Roman's shock, Milo is not only alive but also fully aware of Roman and Konstantin's activities. The confrontation quickly escalates, and in a ruthless display of power, Milo shoots Roman in the leg.

Mike remains unaware that Milo is still alive, a critical piece of information that could dramatically alter his plans. As Mike plans his intricate strategy to manipulate gang leaders and regain control of Kingstown, Milo’s reappearance threatens to upend everything.

If Milo takes action, it could throw Mike’s carefully laid plans into disarray. For instance, Milo could disrupt the delicate balance of power between the gang leaders, undermining Mike’s efforts to pit them against each other.

The fact that Milo is alive and active behind the scenes means he has the potential to exploit weaknesses in Mike’s strategy. He could reveal Mike's deceptions to the gang leaders, turning them against Mike and uniting them under Milo's influence instead.

By attacking those close to Mike, Milo could further destabilize his efforts and force him into a defensive position, struggling to protect his allies while maintaining order in Kingstown.

Milo could potentially form an alliance with Bunny, leveraging their combined influence and resources to target Konstantin and Merle. The collaboration could involve torturing Konstantin and Merle, both physically and psychologically.

Milo may also attempt to kill Iris, aiming to strike a devastating blow against Mike and Konstantin. If Milo succeeds in targeting Iris, it would shatter Mike emotionally and disrupt his strategic plans.
