LANSING, MICHIGAN: 'Mayor of Kingstown' Season 3 Episode 8 has officially dropped on Paramount+, and it seems that Konstantin (Yorick van Wageningen) is scheming against Iris (Emma Laird).

Throughout the episode, hints and subtle clues suggest that Konstantin has a hidden agenda involving Iris. His actions and decisions are shrouded in secrecy, indicating that he may be plotting something significant that could impact her safety.

Mike McLusky (Jeremy Renner), deeply entangled in the escalating violence and power struggles in Kingstown, may become involved in protecting Iris.

In 'Mayor of Kingstown' Season 3 Episode 8, Konstantin asks Iris to leave because he believes it’s not safe for her, especially after the bus accident where several girls were killed.

Konstantin’s plea for Iris to go away suggests that he fears she could be targeted next or get caught up in the escalating violence and chaos.

However, why does Konstantin suddenly want her to leave? His sudden concern for Iris’s safety might not just be out of genuine care; it could also be driven by ulterior motives.

Konstantin might have a hidden agenda behind asking Iris to leave. He could be planning something dangerous or illegal and wants to ensure Iris is out of harm’s way to avoid implicating her or having her witness his actions.

Konstantin could also be using his concern as a manipulative strategy to gain Iris’s trust or to remove her from a situation where she could interfere with his plans.

Perhaps he knows she is collaborating with Mike, and he wants her out of the picture. By asking her to leave, Konstantin could be setting a trap. During her journey, he may plan to have his men intercept and kill her.

Mike's strong feelings for Iris drive his protective instincts. Knowing that Konstantin could be plotting to harm her, he would be motivated to intervene and ensure her safety.

Mike’s commitment to Iris would likely lead him to investigate Konstantin's motives and actions. If he uncovers evidence or learns of Konstantin’s plan to have Iris killed, he would be determined to thwart it and prevent the trap from being executed.

If Mike learns of Konstantin’s plot to harm Iris, he may also consider plotting with Merle Callahan (Richard Brake) to either kill Konstantin or get him arrested.

Despite their often conflicting interests, both men could find common ground in their desire to eliminate a mutual threat.

Merle believes Konstantin attacked the prison with the intent to kill him and is enraged by the fact that Konstantin killed his men. Knowing this, Merle may decide to team up with Mike to take down Konstantin.
