In 'Mayor of Kingstown' Season 3, Episode 3, multiple cars exploded outside the Kingstown Police Department. Subsequently, in Episode 4, authorities confirm that a bomb was responsible for the explosion.

The investigation into the arson outside the Kingstown Police Department quickly identifies the first suspect as John York, who is subsequently arrested. Additionally, Bunny (Tobi Bamtefa) captures the second suspect, identified as Macon.

Kyle McLusky (Taylor Handley) informs Mike that the individual responsible for the attack has connections to the Aryan Brotherhood. Mike starts to piece together the puzzle, suspecting that Merle ordered the attack on the Kingstown Police Department.

When Mike confronts Merle, the latter initially feigns ignorance about the attack on the Kingstown Police Department. However, Merle's behavior suggests a familiarity with Mike, hinting at a shared history or past connection between the two.

During the meeting, Mike asks Merle why he has returned, to which Merle cryptically responds, "Because I miss you." This statement hints at a deeper emotional connection or bond between them, suggesting that their relationship is more than just a casual acquaintance.

On the other hand, another man captured by Bunny reveals that Merle was a figure who provided for everyone, suggesting a leadership role or significant influence. He implies that Mike's actions against Merle are perceived as a betrayal.
