In 'Mayor of Kingstown' Season 3 Episode 7, the opening scene introduces a tense and tragic event involving a group of Russian girls attempting to cross the border into Kingstown.

As they travel on a bus, presumably seeking a new life or refuge, their journey takes a horrifying turn. Someone intercepts their bus, likely authorities or individuals with malicious intent, who forcibly stop them.

This action leads to the bus being pulled over and directed towards a river, resulting in a devastating outcome as the bus plunges into the water, leading to the deaths of the Russian girls on board.

Ian Ferguson (Hugh Dillon) takes the lead in uncovering the circumstances behind the bus incident. Journalists and reporters also cover this news.

Aware of the growing influence of Colombian drug suppliers and their impact on the local drug trade, Mike orders Kyle McLusky (Taylor Handley) and the SWAT team to execute a raid on a Colombian operation known to supply drugs to Bunny Washington's (Tobi Bamtefa) business.

As the episode unfolds, Iris calls Mike to talk about Konstantin (Yorick van Wageningen). Their conversation is intercepted by Konstantin's men, who observe Iris's cryptic exchange with Mike from a distance.

When asked by one of Konstantin's enforcers about her conversation, Iris says she was calling someone from her hometown.

Amid the chaos of the prison environment, Raphael (D Smoke) finds himself cornered by a group of hostile COs who launch a vicious verbal assault, hurling derogatory remarks about his family. The COs also resort to physical violence.

As the episode unfolds, Mike joins Ian at the river where the tragic incident involving the Russian girls occurred. Ian, driven by his dedication to uncovering the truth, reveals to Mike evidence suggesting foul play in the girls' deaths, indicating that someone may have intentionally caused the bus to crash into the river.

Mike tells Ian to call it an accident, or there will be more dead bodies tomorrow. Mike's words show he's worried about causing more violence in Kingstown.

Meanwhile, Konstantin and Iris also learn about this incident. Iris cries, suggesting something may have happened with her in the past.

Later, Ian suggests Bunny might be responsible for the tragic death of the girls. However, Mike speculates it could also be Merle Callahan (Richard Brake).

Mike goes to confront Bunny, but Bunny is angry because Mike had hidden information about Merle and Konstantin's secret dealings. Bunny is also grieving over Rhonda's death. When Mike asks Bunny if he is behind the death of those girls, Bunny bursts into anger.

Meanwhile, it appears Konstantin has suspicions that Iris is hiding something, as he is heard murmuring words in his sleep.

As the episode progresses, Tracy (Nishi Munshi) confronts Cherry (Natasha Marc), demanding to know who got her pregnant, but Cherry erupts in anger. Later, another man confronts Tracy outside in the parking lot, threatening her.

In the end, Evelyn Foley (Necar Zadegan) warns Kyle to be careful of Robert Sawyer (Hamish Allan-Headley).

In 'Mayor of Kingstown' Season 3 Episode 8, Konstantin may become increasingly suspicious of Iris's actions and motivations.

Konstantin, known for his sharp intuition and ruthless demeanor, may interpret Iris's clandestine communication as a potential betrayal or hidden agenda.

Caught between loyalty and self-preservation, Iris may face mounting pressure to hide her true intentions while avoiding the repercussions of Konstantin's suspicion.

Konstantin might consider killing Iris, much like he did with Tatiana (Gratiela Brancusi), fearing that she could betray him.

If Konstantin discovers that Iris was collaborating with Mike, he might seek to inflict harm on Mike's family as a way to retaliate or exert control. Such a development would intensify the stakes for both Mike and Iris.
