KINGSTOWN, MICHIGAN: 'Mayor of Kingstown' Season 3 has become very popular, drawing in fans with its gripping plot and strong characters.

This season has also given focus to Kyle McLusky (Taylor Handley) and Tracy (Nishi Munshi), delving deeper into their personal and professional lives.

In 'Mayor of Kingstown' Season 3, Tracy returns to work after giving birth to her baby. However, upon returning to work, Tracy is confronted with the harsh realities faced by women prisoners within the prison system.

This new perspective exposes her to the systemic issues and struggles that female inmates endure.

Is Tracy protecting Kyle by hiding the truth about female inmates?

In 'Mayor of Kingstown' Season 3 Episode 6, Tracy learns that a female inmate named Sheri 'Cherry' Maxwell (Natasha Marc) has given birth to a baby while incarcerated in the women's prison facility for three years. This discovery leads Tracy to question how Sheri could have become pregnant during her imprisonment.

She suspects that Sheri was raped inside the prison by the staff. Concerned by this troubling revelation, Tracy approaches the warden of the prison.

In Season 1, Sheri killed a rookie guard in retaliation for killing a Crip member. At that time, the prison wanted Mariam McLusky (Dianne Wiest) to persuade Sheri to admit she hadn’t been raped by the guard she killed.

However, instead of complying, Mariam truly listened to Sheri, understanding her history of violence, and refused to do the prison's bidding.

In 'Mayor of Kingstown' Season 3, Episode 6, Tracy decides not to inform Kyle about Sheri's situation. It appears she wants to protect him, particularly because he has just joined the SWAT team and she is concerned about adding more stress to his already demanding and dangerous job.

It's also possible that Tracy refrains from telling Kyle because she fears he might worry about potential repercussions from the guards if she speaks out against one of them.

The situation involves prison staff raping women within the facility, which poses a significant danger due to their authority and power.

This creates a daunting prospect for any woman affected, as they face a dangerous situation where speaking up could lead to further mistreatment or retaliation.

Fans debate Tracy's decision to keep Kyle in the dark

Many fans have turned to Reddit to discuss Tracy's decision to withhold information from Kyle in 'Mayor of Kingstown' Season 3.

A fan on Reddit questioned, "Does Tracy choose not to tell Kyle about Cherry and her real reason for meeting the warden simply because moments of levity are further and fewer, Or is there another deeper reason?"

This sparked a lively discussion among fans about Tracy's motivation and secret. A fan wrote on Reddit, "I assumed it was bc Kyle would probably be worried about repercussions from the guards if she voiced her concerns about one of them, and Kyle would probably just want her to stay quiet about it. Can someone explain why the warden said the “father” wouldn’t be the guy she killed? Was it him or was it supposed to have been someone else? I loved when Tracy corrected her firmly and lady it’s an ASSAILANT not a father. 👏 I really hope nothing bad happens to Tracy!"

Another fan wrote on Reddit, "The warden was clearly warning Tracy to leave well enough alone, and Tracy did not grasp the undertones, at least during their meeting. The warden saw her naivete and suggested an anonymous complaint - ridiculous, as everyone knows who was unhappy about Cherry giving birth while restrained. Perhaps Tracy later took in the warden's words, realized that stirring the pot in prison in Kingstown is how you get yourself dead, and didn't want to worry Kyle."

The fan continued, "I believe we all know she won't let it go. Kyle, likewise, is minimizing his transition to SWAT, and the inherent greater dangers involved in that. Laying there with their baby, they are lying to themselves and to each other, to the point that it seems to foreshadow both of them getting themselves killed and Mike having to raise the baby. Will he marry the DA or Iris to make it a nuclear family, or will he strap the baby into a car seat and drive out of town whistling, as the series finale concludes."

Another fan commented on Reddit, saying, "This part I don’t understand - how is it not the guy she killed baby? Like they made it confusing - I wish they just used a different woman cause it’s confusing and makes you think it’s the guy Cherry killed and I also agree that the creepy guard is either the father or Tracy is going to have some sort of affair with him because they are making his character so assertive."

Another fan made a prediction on Reddit that in Season 4 of 'Mayor of Kingstown', Mike McLusky (Jeremy Renner) and Iris (Emma Laird) might find themselves unexpectedly caring for Sheri's baby while navigating dangerous situations and avoiding gunfire.

Another fan said on Reddit, "Everyone said Kyle was going to leave little Mitch fatherless. Looks like Tracy may leave the kid momless." The fan's prediction suggests that the situation surrounding Sheri's baby is perilous, implying that Tracy's potential action, such as filing a complaint, could put her at risk of retaliation, even potentially endangering her life.

A fan wrote on Reddit, "Tracy is about to lose her s**t!" While another fan said on Reddit, "I’m also suspicious of the guard that keeps inserting himself into all of her situations."
