KINGSTOWN, MICHIGAN: 'Mayor of Kingstown' Season 3 Episode 6 has officially dropped on Paramount+, and it seems that Mike McLusky's (Jeremy Renner) troubles are set to intensify due to Merle Callahan's (Richard Brake) actions.

In Episode 5, Mike discovers that Merle and Konstantin (Yorick van Wageningen) have been collaborating to supply drugs in Kingstown. Later in Episode 6, Mike pressures Carney (Lane Garrison), a prison guard, to find out how they managed to transport the drugs to Anchor Bay, especially since Merle is currently imprisoned.

To his surprise, he witnesses Carney being beaten up by COs affiliated with the Aryan Brotherhood demonstrated the extent of Merle's power and influence.

After Rhonda's (Nona Parker Johnson) death in Episode 6, Mike requests Kareem Moore (Michael Beach) to transfer Merle from gen pop to ad seg. This move is aimed at isolating Merle and increasing security measures around him, fearing that Merle's influence and connections could further affect Kingstown.

This action likely angered Merle, as previously he had requested Mike to transfer him to general population, and Mike's decision to move him to ad seg could be seen as a betrayal.

Carney inspects every nook and cranny in an attempt to uncover the contraband and unravel the workings of the drug trade between Konstantin and the Aryan Brotherhood. However, his efforts are met with resistance when he is violently attacked by supporters of Merle. This incident shows the extent to which Merle wields power and poses a significant threat to Mike.

Even inside prison, he manages to facilitate drug business with Konstantin and is willing to use violence against anyone who tries to intervene. This incident highlights the pervasive reach of Merle's power, both inside and outside prison walls, making him a formidable adversary for Mike.

Merle not only has his members supporting him but also has COs on his side, which enables the Aryan Brotherhood to move drugs around more easily.

This network of support within the prison system provides Merle with additional leverage and protection, allowing him to conduct illicit activities with ease.

Merle's actions could significantly exacerbate drug abuse in Kingstown and intensify the challenges faced by Mike, who is striving to restore order and balance.

Drug-related deaths have already wreaked havoc in Kingstown. In Kingstown, where drug trafficking networks thrive despite law enforcement efforts, Mike needs to take immediate action.

Merle's partnership with Konstantin and his influential position pose a significant threat to Mike.

It appears that the Russian mobster Konstantin has played a significant role in elevating Merle's power by inviting him to collaborate. However, beneath this visible partnership, there may be a hidden leader planning operations from behind the scenes.

It seems likely that Milo Sunter (Aidan Gillen) is alive, and he is  the clandestine force behind the drug trade partnership between Konstantin and Merle.

If Milo is alive, he might be collaborating with Konstantin and Merle to seek revenge on Mike. This partnership could explain the recent increase in deaths in Kingstown, including Rhonda's murder. By targeting individuals close to Mike, Milo could be aiming to weaken Mike's authority and expand their drug operations in the town.

It's highly likely that Milo has made Merle more powerful, understanding that Merle possesses the power to destabilize peace in Kingstown and affect Mike's life.

They might also consider using and potentially harming Iris (Emma Laird) to torment Mike and achieve their goals. Additionally, targeting Iris could be a method to manipulate Mike's actions or decisions, forcing him into compromising situations that benefit Merle and Konstantin's illicit activities.
