KINGSTOWN, MICHIGAN: 'Mayor of Kingstown' Season 3, Episode 6 has officially been released on Paramount+, signaling new challenges ahead for Mike McLusky (Jeremy Renner).

In 'Mayor of Kingstown' Season 3 Episode 5, Evelyn Foley (Necar Zadegan), the Assistant District Attorney, informs Mike about the analysis of the drug that led to several deaths among its users. The analysis revealed traces of methamphetamine and opioids mixed into the heroin.

Mike also discovers that the Aryan Brotherhood and Konstantin (Yorick van Wageningen) are collaborating to supply drugs in Kingstown. In Episode 6, a devastating death leads to significant and far-reaching changes within the storyline.

Let's discuss what happened in 'Mayor of Kingstown' Season 3 Episode 6, and speculate on what might happen in Episode 7.

'Mayor of Kingstown' Season 3 Episode 6 begins with the tragic death of Rhonda (Nona Parker Johnson), who is shot outside her beauty salon.

Ian Ferguson (Hugh Dillon) and Mike arrive at the scene to assess the situation, suspecting that the Russians may be behind the attack, especially since Rhonda was Bunny Washington's (Tobi Bamtefa) cousin.

They fear that Bunny might retaliate, which could escalate violence in Kingstown. Later, Mike calls Kareem Moore (Michael Beach), the interim Warden of the Kingstown Prison, and asks him to put Merle Callahan (Richard Brake) in ad seg because he knows he is collaborating with Russian mobster Konstantin, as seen in Episode 5.

Mike suggests raiding Konstantin's location to gather evidence of drug trafficking and facilitate his arrest and incarceration. Mike calls Iris (Emma Laird) beforehand to warn her to flee, but against his advice, she remains at the location. During the raid, both Iris and Konstantin are arrested.

During the interrogation, Ian warns Konstantin that he knows about the murder of Tatiana (Gratiela Brancusi) and the disposal of her body. He reveals that Tatiana's baby survived the ordeal.

Konstantin denies any involvement and asserts they cannot detain him because nothing incriminating was found at his place. Despite officers' claims of discovering drug residue during the raid, Konstantin maintains his innocence, insisting that he has no connection to the illegal activities.

Without substantial evidence, the officers cannot detain him for more than an hour under legal constraints. As the episode unfolds, when Mike questions Iris about why she didn't flee, she elaborates that taking a lunch break could have raised suspicions with Konstantin.

She feared that any attempt to escape might alert him to her involvement or intentions, putting her safety at risk.

On the other hand, Tracy (Nishi Munshi) discovers that a female prisoner named Sheri Maxwell in the women's prison facility has given birth to a baby. She has been incarcerated in the facility for three years, prompting Tracy to question how Sheri became pregnant during her time there. Tracy suspects that Sheri was raped inside the prison by the staff.

In the end, Mike visits Merle to warn him about the potential betrayal by Konstantin. However, Merle appears confident and unconcerned about any threats from Konstantin.

It seems likely that in 'Mayor of Kingstown' Season 3, Episode 7, Bunny will retaliate against Konstantin because he suspects his men may have been responsible for Rhonda's death.

Bunny and Mike may work together to tackle this issue and gather evidence of Konstantin's illegal activities. Ian and Kareem would also lend their support, driven by the devastating impact of drug abuse on Kingstown's residents.

Their involvement could focus on leveraging their respective positions and resources to combat the drug epidemic and find evidence against Konstantin.

It seems probable that in Episode 7 of 'Mayor of Kingstown' Season 3, Konstantin will discover Iris's betrayal, leading to a dangerous escalation. He may also try to kill Iris, employing tactics similar to those used in Tatiana's case.

However, Mike would intervene to protect her, just as he has done before. Despite this rescue, Konstantin and Merle may escalate their efforts to harm him in retaliation.
